27-inch QHD with 200 Hz under three thousand! But the monitor lacks one thing

QHD on 27 inches is the right choice

On a twenty-seven-inch diagonal, Full HD is already noticeable – pixels are coarse and text is less sharp. QHD (2560 × 1440) is ideal for this size: the image is significantly finer, more windows fit on the screen, and the graphics card can handle it much more easily than 4K. Plus 200 Hz and a 1 ms response time, which is more than enough for casual and action gaming.

The connectivity is pleasant: two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports mean you can connect a computer, console, and laptop all at once without having to switch anything – something you practically don’t see in monitors at this price. One catch you need to know

This is the most important information in the entire article: Alza states in the parameters that the monitor is without image synchronization. This means it has neither AMD FreeSync nor Nvidia G-Sync compatibility – technologies that synchronize the monitor’s refresh rate with frames from the graphics card. Practically, this means that when the frame rate fluctuates, screen tearing may appear, which synchronization would otherwise eliminate.

How much this will bother you depends on what you play. With high and stable frame rates at 200 Hz, tearing is less noticeable and doesn’t bother many players; however, if you play demanding titles where frame rates fluctuate, you will notice it. Those who want certainty should opt for a monitor with FreeSync.

The rest of the compromises are expected: brightness of 300 nits and contrast of 1000:1, so consider HDR support a formality, and the stand only allows tilting.
