Looking for a large TV with great contrast and a gaming mode for your console, but don’t want to break the bank? The Hisense 65U7Q now costs 12 792 Kč with code ALZADNY20 instead of the usual 15 990 Kč. For a Mini-LED of this size, it’s one of the most affordable offers this year.

Quick summary:
It makes sense if you want a large Mini-LED with deep blacks, a 144 Hz gaming mode, and four HDMI 2.1 ports for consoles at a reasonable price.
⚠️ Consider that the picture needs fine-tuning in its default settings, the built-in speakers are only average, and the VIDAA system has a narrower selection of apps.
💡 At 12 792 Kč with code ALZADNY20, it’s one of the cheapest 65″ Mini-LED TVs of the 2025 model year.

What the 65-inch Mini-LED offers

The core is Mini-LED backlighting with 220 local dimming zones, allowing for deep blacks and high contrast – a decent number for this price range. The Pantone-certified QLED panel has an anti-reflective surface and 4K resolution. Gamers will appreciate the Game Mode PRO with VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, plus the Gamer Dashboard and, most importantly, four HDMI 2.1 ports – competitors in this class often offer only two. The image is handled by the Hi-View AI Engine processor with 4K upscaling and HDR enhancement, supporting Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HLG formats. Sound is provided by a 40W system with a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Atmos. The VIDAA system is reportedly fast and starts almost instantly, offering both Czech and global applications (Oneplay, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube). Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Miracast are all present, and after registration, the manufacturer extends the warranty to 5 years.

What to consider

A few things upfront. Owner reviews clearly indicate that the picture in default settings isn’t great – you’ll need to tinker with it, but after fine-tuning, the results are excellent. Despite the subwoofer, the built-in speakers are rather average; they’re sufficient for casual viewing, but for a proper experience, a soundbar or home theater is recommended. The VIDAA system is fast, but the app selection is narrower than, for example, on Google TV, and the browser has its limitations – those who want more can solve this with an external TV box. The subwoofer protrudes from the back, so keep that in mind when wall-mounting, and the connectors and power input are scattered on both sides. Some users have also encountered issues with activating gifts, such as Antik TV for a year free.

For a large Mini-LED with a 144 Hz gaming mode and decent contrast for under 13 thousand, this is an excellent buy, confirmed by high customer ratings. Just be prepared for a bit of picture tuning and potentially purchasing a soundbar.

Is the sound directly from the TV enough for you, or can’t you do without a soundbar?
