RTX 5070 at full power for 28,990 CZK. One of the cheapest gaming laptops is on sale and offers amazing battery life

In Germany, the same laptop was sold for 2,199 euros, and the Notebookcheck editorial team called it a price gamble at the time. Here, with code ALZADNY25, it now costs 28,990 CZK instead of 41,990 CZK – and at this price, the whole product looks completely different. Moreover, it is one of the cheapest laptops with an RTX 5070 on the Czech market.

One hundred fifteen watts makes a significant difference

For gaming laptops, the same graphics card can deliver significantly different performance in different machines – TGP, i.e., how many watts the manufacturer allows the card, is decisive. Here, the RTX 5070 runs at a full 115 W including Dynamic Boost, which is the maximum this card gets in laptops. For comparison: in cheaper models with the same graphics card designation, it is often set to 65 – 85 W and delivers noticeably lower performance.

LaptopMedia measured 196 frames per second in CS2 at very high details and 92 FPS in the graphically demanding Black Myth: Wukong for this series. The laptop supports Advanced Optimus and G-Sync, technologies that are usually exclusive to more expensive models – Advanced Optimus can automatically switch between integrated and dedicated graphics without restarting, which saves battery during normal work.

And it is the battery that holds the biggest surprise. LaptopMedia measured over 14 hours of battery life for this series and wrote that the laptop “breaks the unwritten rule that a gaming machine means terrible endurance.” This is due to the 90 Wh battery and the efficient octa-core Ryzen 7 260 with a 5.1 GHz boost.

A display that pleases even outside of games

The panel is a 16″ IPS with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 165 Hz refresh rate, and an anti-glare finish. Color reproduction is crucial: 100% sRGB and 75% Adobe RGB coverage means it can be used for photo editing, not just gaming. In its review, Notebookcheck highlights the improved display as the main advancement over the previous generation.

The connectivity is rich: Thunderbolt/USB4, USB-C with G-Sync support, two USB 3.2, HDMI, and gigabit Ethernet, plus Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. The metal and plastic body weighs 2.2 kg and has a sober black-gray design that, according to reviewers, doesn’t look out of place in an office. It also features an RGB-backlit Czech keyboard with a numeric keypad and a Full HD webcam.

Three things you need to know

Firstly: the laptop does not have an operating system or a charger. Windows 11 will cost you several thousand, and an adapter hundreds more – so the real price is higher than it appears. Secondly: 16 GB of memory is installed in a single slot, so it runs in single-channel mode and hinders performance; however, the second slot is free, so buying another module is the cheapest way to help the machine. Thirdly, the RTX 5070 only has 8 GB of video memory, which is starting to be on the edge for the most demanding games at high textures.

Reviews also mention complaints about louder fans under full load, and several international customers mentioned minor manufacturing flaws, specifically the alignment of the display and keyboard. However, for less than twenty-nine thousand, it’s a gaming laptop with full-power graphics, an excellent display, and battery life that competitors don’t offer – and that’s a combination rarely seen at this price.
