Regular tablets are suitable for the living room, but not for construction sites or off-road use. You can currently get the Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Pro for 11,049 CZK with the discount code ALZADNY15 – and you’ll get a tablet that can withstand drops, water immersion, and several days of work without a charger. While you might buy a tablet with higher performance for a similar price, it won’t be one that can survive conditions where regular electronics would fail. If you want to check current availability, you’ll find everything directly in the product detail on Alza.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you work in the field, on a construction site, or need a tablet for outdoor activities with extreme durability.
⚠️ Consider if you are primarily looking for performance – for the same price, there are tablets with better chipsets for general use.
💡 For 11,049 CZK you get a 24,200mAh battery, 120W charging, built-in LED light, night vision, and military-grade durability – a unique combination on the Czech market.

Battery for several days: 24,200 mAh

The main advantage of this tablet from Ulefone is its dual-cell battery with a capacity of 24,200 mAh (equivalent to 12,100 mAh / 7.74 V). For comparison, typical tablets have around 7,000–8,000 mAh. The manufacturer states up to 68 hours of navigation, 50 hours of gaming, 108 hours of video playback, or up to 2,180 hours in standby mode. In practice, this means several days of field work without needing to find an outlet.

Despite its enormous capacity, the tablet charges surprisingly quickly thanks to 120W wired charging. According to the manufacturer, it can replenish 20% of capacity in 10 minutes, 70% in 30 minutes, and a full charge takes about 55 minutes. Additionally, the tablet supports 10W reverse charging – you can use it to charge your phone, GPS, or camera when they run out of power.

Built-in LED lighting: light and warning signals

On the top of the tablet, you’ll find a pair of powerful LED lights with a total of 377 LED diodes on each side, producing up to 1,000 lumens. They function as a full-fledged work flashlight with the ability to switch between warm and cool light. They support several modes – strong light, weak light, SOS, and strobe. Thanks to an adjustable tilt of approximately 180°, you can direct the beam exactly where you need it.

In addition to work lighting, the tablet also has a pair of warning LED lights with 64 diodes that glow red, blue, or a combination. They are suitable for signaling on construction sites, marking accident scenes, or in emergencies. The tablet thus also fulfills a safety function that can increase visibility in critical situations.

Durability: IP68/IP69K and military standard MIL-STD-810H

The Armor Pad 5 Pro meets IP68 and IP69K standards – in practice, this means resistance to water immersion (1.5 meters for 30 minutes), dust, and mud. The military standard MIL-STD-810H guarantees resistance to drops, shocks, vibrations, and extreme temperatures. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet is designed for use with gloves – the touchscreen responds to them.

On the back, there is a metal bracket that serves as a handle for comfortable holding and also as a kickstand. For professional use, a uSmart connector is available for connecting endoscopes, microscopes, and other inspection accessories.

Display, performance, and connectivity

The 11″ IPS display with Full HD+ (1920 × 1200) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate offers ample space for maps, blueprints, or documents. The 16:10 aspect ratio is suitable for both work and video watching. Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset (4nm, 8 cores, up to 2.6 GHz) with 5G support. The manufacturer states an AnTuTu score of over 900,000 points.

The configuration of 12 GB RAM (with the option to expand by 20 GB virtual memory) and 512 GB storage (expandable via microSD up to 2 TB) provides ample space for offline maps, projects, and documentation. The tablet supports 5G Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and precise GPS satellite navigation. The Android 15 system runs in a clean form without unnecessary pre-installed applications.

Cameras including infrared night vision

The rear 64Mpx camera (Sony IMX682) takes high-quality photos for work documentation, label photography, or construction progress. Also included is a 64Mpx infrared camera with IR illumination for night vision – it captures readable black-and-white images even in near-total darkness. The front 32Mpx camera ensures sharp video calls and online meetings.

What users say and who it’s not for

On Alza, the tablet currently has a rating of 5.0 out of 5 (1 rating) and is 100% recommended by customers. Over 20 units have already been sold. It’s a relatively new model, so there are few reviews yet – but the Ulefone brand has a long tradition in the rugged device category.

It’s fair to say that for 11,049 CZK, you could get a regular tablet with a more powerful chipset and a better display for content consumption. The Armor Pad 5 Pro is not intended for those primarily seeking performance for games or multimedia. You are paying for durability, battery, and specialized features – LED lighting, night vision, military certification. If you work in an office and use your tablet for Netflix, this is not the tablet for you.

You can find other discounted tablets and accessories in the current Alza Days.

Verdict: who it’s worth it for

If you work on a construction site, in the field, in service, or during outdoor activities and need a tablet that can survive demanding conditions and last several days without a charger, this discount is definitely interesting. For 11,049 CZK, you get a 24,200mAh battery, 120W charging, built-in LED light, infrared night vision, and military-grade durability. Conversely, if you are primarily looking for a tablet for games, movies, or regular home use, it’s worth considering standard models with a better price/performance ratio.
