Alza significantly slashed the price of Motorola sports watches! You won't pay even a thousand for a huge OLED and GPS

Cheap sports watches often have one typical weakness. They often borrow the route of a run or ride from a phone, so without a mobile in your pocket, they only record steps and health data. Motorola Moto Watch Fit have their own GPS, and with code ALZADNY50, you can now buy them for 995 Kč instead of 1 817 Kč from the previous promotion. This is a full 60% less than the launch price.

Quick summary:
✅ They make sense if you want a lightweight watch for running, cycling, or hiking that records your route even without a phone and doesn’t need charging every evening.
⚠️ Consider that Alza states compatibility only with Android, so iPhone owners are out of luck.
💡 For 995 Kč, you get an aluminum case, Gorilla Glass, and 5 ATM water resistance, but for smart features, count mainly on notifications and music control.

At 995 Kč, Moto Watch Fit costs roughly 40% of its original price

Motorola launched the watches for 2 489 Kč. In a previous Alza promotion, they dropped to 1 817 Kč, and now with code ALZADNY50, they go even 822 Kč lower, to 995 Kč. This means you’re saving almost fifteen hundred from the launch price. More importantly, the watches have fallen below the psychological barrier of one thousand Czech crowns, where fitness trackers rather than watches with an aluminum body usually reside.

The GPS in the watch is precisely the feature that makes it worthwhile to choose Moto Watch Fit instead of the cheapest smart band. Motorola states that it measures distance accurately even offline, meaning without a phone connection. So, for your morning run, you can leave your phone at home and view the route after you return.

Aluminum Case, 25 Grams, and Up to 16 Days Battery Life

The square dial hides a 1.9″ OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass. The case measures 37.9 mm, is made of aluminum, and the entire watch weighs only 25 grams, so it shouldn’t bother you even at night when it measures your sleep. 5 ATM water resistance handles rain and swimming in a pool. The quick-release nylon strap has a standard width of 22 mm, so you can easily swap it for any other.

The watch tracks heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and sleep quality, and the manufacturer promises over 100 sports modes from running to yoga to rowing. Data synchronizes to the moto watch app, where you set goals and track progress. Smart features include phone notifications, music playback control, and finding a lost phone. NFC is not listed in the specifications, so don’t count on making payments with the watch.

Motorola states up to 16 days of battery life on a single charge, and if you’re in a hurry, five minutes on the charger should be enough for a whole day. Both figures are manufacturer’s data, which we cannot independently verify. Moreover, frequent GPS usage will logically shorten battery life.

How do Alza customers rate the watch?

On Alza, Moto Watch Fit has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 23 customers, and 74% of them recommend it. Over 200 units have been sold, and the return rate of 1.69% is low. The sample size for ratings is not yet large, so I would consider it more as an indication.

Who Moto Watch Fit won’t make happy

If you have an iPhone, skip these watches; the manufacturer states compatibility only with Android. Also, those who want to pay at the checkout with their wrist will be disappointed. And anyone who runs in the city among tall buildings or needs the most accurate route recording will likely look for more expensive models with dual-band GPS.

For under a thousand, I would seriously consider them

I would personally recommend the Moto Watch Fit for 995 Kč with code ALZADNY50 primarily to someone who is starting with exercise and doesn’t want to spend several thousands on their first watch. They will get built-in GPS, an aluminum body, and battery life that won’t require looking for a charger every other day. They could also be suitable as a gift for parents who want to track steps and sleep. On the other hand, anyone expecting a full-fledged smartwatch with payment capabilities and advanced features will not get what they are looking for at 995 Kč and should pay extra.

Are simple GPS watches enough for your sport, or do you want a full-fledged smartwatch on your wrist?
