If you’re struggling with them, we have a tip for you. Late last year, we wrote about the second generation of the Mijia Lint Remover 2, which was then introduced on Xiaomi’s global website. Today, the new product is available on Alza for just 399 CZK and promises a significant improvement over the original model. CHCI ODŽMOLKOVAČ XIAOMI Six-blade design and 6,000 RPM motor 180-minute battery life and safety features How it's better than the previous Lint Remover Six-blade design and 6,000 RPM motor The main change from the original Xiaomi lint remover is the new steel blade with six blades made of 30Cr13 martensitic steel. Its predecessor removed lint with five blades, so Xiaomi should achieve more efficient and even trimming. Power is provided by a motor with 6,000 revolutions per minute, which continuously sucks the trimmed lint into a transparent container. The protective mesh has a thickness of 0.35 mm and two types of openings – smaller ones with a diameter of 1.4 mm for fine lint and larger 2 mm ones for coarser lint. Beneath it, an eight-shaped air duct maintains a one-way airflow, preventing removed fibers from returning to the fabric. 180-minute battery life and safety features The built-in battery provides 180 minutes of continuous operation on a single charge. If you use the lint remover for approximately 15 minutes a week, according to Xiaomi, it will last for about three months without needing to connect the charger. Safety is ensured by a double safeguard – the device automatically turns off when the protective cover is removed and cannot be accidentally started while charging. The manufacturer recommends the lint remover for sweaters, wool coats, trousers, scarves, gloves, and cotton bedding. It is not intended for other types of fabrics (such as synthetic or elastic fabrics) – in such a case, you could easily damage the clothing. How it’s better than the previous Lint Remover The Mijia Lint Remover 2 brings several specific improvements over the original model. In addition to a six-blade design instead of five, it also features a larger lint container and an optimized handle with a reduced diameter, designed to fit more comfortably in the hand. Furthermore, Xiaomi assigns a unique 19-digit code to each unit for authenticity verification – something the original model lacked. KOUPIT ZA 399 KČ The remaining basic features remain similar, so if you have a functioning first-generation model at home, there’s no urgent reason to upgrade. However, for new interested buyers, it makes sense to go straight for the second generation, especially if you want to remove lint from wool sweaters or cotton bedding.
