Looking for a cheap phone you won’t have to charge every night? Motorola is preparing another model with a huge battery for the Czech market. As we managed to find out, the Moto G47 Power appeared in the offer of several domestic e-shops even before its official presentation. Thanks to this, we know not only the complete equipment, but also the price in advance.

Moto G47 Power will cost 6,490 CZK

We found the new product at retailers always in a single configuration with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It will be available in Pantone Impenetrable black and a more vibrant Pantone Capri turquoise shade. Sources agree that you will be able to purchase the new product for 6,490 CZK.

The basic Moto G47, which the manufacturer showed at the end of April, has been on the market since spring. The Power variant is based on it, but instead of a 5,200mAh battery and 20W charging, it will get a 7,000mAh cell and 30W charging.

Battery in the main role

The most important feature will be the battery. According to the description that e-shops take from the manufacturer, Motorola promises up to 78 hours of battery life, which is roughly three days. However, the actual battery life will, of course, depend on how you use the phone. It can charge at 30 W and can also charge headphones or watches at 6 W via cable. However, you will not find an adapter in the package.

The front will be filled by a 6.67-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 1,050 nits. However, the resolution is only HD+ (1604 × 720 pixels), which gives a pixel density of 264 PPI on such a diagonal. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the body also meets the MIL-STD-810H military durability standard and IP64 rating against dust and splashing water.

The rear will house a 108Mpx main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, which combines nine pixels into one for better shots in low light. The manufacturer also boasts a triple “lossless” zoom – however, this will be a crop from a large sensor, not a separate telephoto lens. It will be complemented by a 2Mpx macro and an 8Mpx selfie camera.

Performance will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, manufactured with a 6nm process, supported by 4 GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This can be expanded with a microSD card by up to 1 TB. It also features 5G, NFC for payments, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone will run on Android 16 with Gemini assistant and Circle to Search feature.

What compromises do you have to expect?

The Motorola Moto G47 Power will primarily rely on battery life, which few in this class can match. However, the compromises are clear: HD+ resolution, only 4 GB of RAM, and a missing charger in the package.

Today’s era is simply unfavorable for manufacturers of cheaper smartphones – due to high prices of memory and storage, they have to save in many areas, and new devices in the lower mid-range are generally not very attractive, regardless of the brand. Current forecasts, however, do not suggest that the situation should significantly improve anytime soon.

Would you trade a higher display resolution for three-day battery life?
