Giant 85-inch Samsung costs 32,990 CZK with code. Measure your living room before buying

The Samsung QE85QN70H is an offer for those who want to give movies a truly large display area. Alza is now selling its 85-inch variant with code ALZADNY30 for 32,990 CZK. Without the code, the price is listed as 47,129 CZK, so the discount is calculated at 30%. The main attraction is the screen size, but when buying, the space on the TV stand will be just as important.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Movies and series in a large format, with 4K resolution and streaming applications directly on the TV.
⚠️ Consider: Alza lists a panel with a frequency of 50 / 60 Hz. For gamers who primarily want a high refresh rate, this is not the main candidate.
💡 Also measure the stand: For the stand, Alza states the width or leg spacing as 142 cm.

Large area for movies, gaming equipment has its limits

The screen uses QLED technology, Edge backlighting, and supports HDR. The surface is glossy, so when planning placement, windows and lights opposite the TV should also be considered.

For connecting consoles and other equipment, 3 HDMI connectors are available, all according to Alza in version 2.1. Gaming mode and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are also present. So, gaming features are included, but do not take them as a promise of a high-frequency panel.

The built-in speakers have a power output of 20 W. Those who want to add a separate soundbar to the large picture can use HDMI with eARC. The package also includes a smart remote control with solar charging.

The TV measures 190 cm in width, the box even more

The TV itself is 190.09 cm wide and weighs 40.5 kg. When mounting on a wall, count on VESA 600×400 mounting and a bracket with appropriate load capacity. The thin body with a depth of 2.69 cm without the stand should not overshadow its overall dimensions and weight.

Before ordering, also consider the path to your apartment. The packaging has a width of 205.9 cm, a height of 120 cm, and a depth of 17.1 cm, and its weight is 53 kg. For this offer, in addition to entering the discount code, it makes sense to measure the elevator and turns on the staircase.
