Most large power banks can handle a phone, but struggle with a laptop. UGREEN is a different weight class, literally: it delivers up to 140 W from a single USB-C port and up to 300 W in total, so you can easily charge your laptop, phone, and headphones from it. The UGREEN 48000mAh 300W power bank now costs 2,999 CZK instead of 3,999 CZK with code ALZADNY25, saving you a thousand crowns.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you want to charge a laptop and a few other devices from the power bank, for example at a cottage, campsite, or during a power outage.
⚠️ Consider that it weighs over 1.6 kg and won’t fit in a pocket or handbag.
💡 For 2,999 CZK you get it a thousand crowns cheaper and it comes with durable LiFePO4 cells with a lifespan of up to 3,000 cycles.

300 W power can handle three laptops at once

The 300 W figure is the total power, which is divided among five ports: three USB-C and two USB-A. According to the manufacturer, all three USB-C ports can simultaneously deliver up to 100 W, so you can charge three laptops at once from the power bank, provided they draw power via USB-C. The most powerful port can handle up to 140 W thanks to the PD 3.1 standard, which is sufficient even for more powerful laptops with higher power consumption.

Before the promotion, the power bank cost 3,999 CZK on Alza, now with code ALZADNY25 it comes out to 2,999 CZK, so you save 1,000 CZK, or 25%. Alza also displays the HlídačShopů (Shop Watcher) label “We agree on the discount” for it, indicating that it is a genuine discount, not an artificially inflated original price.

Cells that last 3,000 charges

Inside are not ordinary lithium-ion cells, but lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) ones. They have a reputation for being safer and more stable batteries with a lower risk of overheating. The manufacturer states that after 3,000 cycles, they retain over 80% of their original capacity, so even with frequent use, the power bank will last you for years.

On the display, you will see the remaining capacity as well as the current input and output power, so you immediately know how many watts your laptop is currently drawing. The built-in LED flashlight with three modes, including an emergency SOS, comes in handy in the dark. And in the package, you’ll find a 240W USB-C to USB-C cable.

It’s full in an hour and a half. If it has something to charge with

The 140 W port works in both directions, so the power bank itself can be charged at the same speed. The manufacturer promises a full charge in 1.5 hours, but for that, you need a charger that truly delivers 140 W via PD 3.1. You won’t find one in the package, and with a weaker adapter, charging will take significantly longer.

Customers give 4.9 out of 5. They mainly mind the weight

The ratings are reliable, with 34 reviews and 31 customers giving full marks. 94% of buyers recommend the power bank, over 1,000 units have been sold, and the return rate is only 1.26%. In reviews, people praise the fast charging, quality cells, and the ability to connect several devices to the power bank at once. One fisherman appreciates that he no longer has to start a generator for his phone.

The criticisms revolve around the same thing: the power bank is large and heavy. One reviewer therefore sees it more for long trips than for everyday carrying. Occasionally, there was also a complaint that it only charged a phone with a 5,000mAh battery twice. This is far below what the manufacturer promises, and other reviews do not report anything similar.

Who will find 1.6 kilos in their backpack more of a hindrance?

With a weight of 1,637 grams, the UGREEN is not suitable for daily carrying; you’ll more likely find a place for it in a backpack, car trunk, or drawer. A holiday flight can also be an issue. At 153 Wh, it falls into a category that you may only take on a plane with airline approval, so check the conditions in advance.

And if you’re not going to charge a laptop from the power bank, you’re unnecessarily overpaying for 300 W of power. For a phone, watch, and headphones, cheaper giant power banks, such as Choetech with 50,000 mAh and 65 W power, are perfectly sufficient.

For 2,999 CZK, it makes sense mainly with a laptop in your backpack

The UGREEN 48000mAh 300W is heavy, and you cannot take it on a plane without airline approval. Those who account for this will get a power bank for 2,999 CZK with code ALZADNY25 that will charge a laptop as readily as a phone, plus a battery built to last for years. If you work in the field, go on multi-day trips, or want a backup in case of a power outage, a thousand crowns off is a good reason not to wait. Those who only charge their mobile phone should save money and opt for a weaker power bank.

Do you also charge your laptop from a power bank, or is it enough for you if it charges your phone?
