Google has published the first official teaser for the Fitbit Edge tracker on social media and included a date. The new device will be revealed this Monday, October 12. However, we don’t expect too many surprises – we wrote about the tracker last week, and since then, the last missing details, including the price, have leaked.

Google revealed more about the tracker in a teaser

The Google Health account accompanied the image on X with just the brief slogan “Get an Edge on your health” and a date. The photo captures a detail of the body, showing a metal frame and the Canyon orange color, which you know from the Pixel Watch 5. The display is only subtly visible. It is not yet clear whether Monday will only be an official unveiling or if sales will start immediately.

Thanks to leaks, we already know practically everything

The Edge is intended to fill the gap between the display-less Fitbit Air and the Pixel Watch 5. French server Dealabs published its complete technical specifications this week. According to them, the tracker will feature a 1.34-inch AMOLED display, and the battery is expected to last up to seven days, or about two days with the always-on display. Five minutes on the charger should be enough for a full day of operation.

The features will include built-in GPS, an altimeter, and sensors for measuring blood oxygen saturation, ECG, and VO2 Max. The Edge will also estimate blood pressure trends and insulin resistance. It will display notifications, offer the Gemini assistant, and a few simple apps like Google Maps or music control, and will pair with both Android and iPhone. It’s worth noting that you can reportedly replace the battery yourself.

According to the reliable website Dealabs, the Fitbit Edge will cost approximately 4,400 CZK (179 euros) in Europe, converted. The display-less Fitbit Air, meanwhile, starts at 99 euros. Don’t count on official sales in the Czech Republic – even the Fitbit Air is not officially sold here, and for a review, we had to order it from the German Google Store.

Is 4,400 CZK for the Fitbit Edge a reasonable price for you?
