Do you want a phone with a great display and performance, but don’t want to pay flagship prices? The OnePlus Nord 5 5G now costs 7,642 CZK with code ALZADNY15 instead of last year’s 11,990 CZK. It offers upper-class features – and we’ll also address a question you’re probably thinking about regarding OnePlus.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want a fast phone with a beautiful large display, great battery life, 80W charging, and an excellent selfie camera.
⚠️ Consider that it is large and heavy, has a plastic body, lacks eSIM, microSD, and wireless charging, and comes with bloatware upon activation.
💡 For 7,642 CZK with code ALZADNY15, it’s an upper-class device at a great price

Upper-Class Features for 7,642 CZK

The star is the 6.83″ AMOLED display with 144 Hz, brightness up to 1400 nits (readable even in sunlight), and beautiful color reproduction – ideal for content consumption and gaming. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which, according to owners, can even run Genshin Impact at a stable 90 fps on high details, with the phone only getting warm. Additionally, there’s a large 5200 mAh battery (typically lasting 1.5–2 days) and 80W charging. Photography-wise, the 50Mpx selfie camera stands out (above average in its class), along with a solid 50Mpx main camera with OIS; evening shots and the wide-angle lens are weaker. The OxygenOS system is famously fast – one owner described it as smoother than an iPhone 16 Pro.

The End of OnePlus in Our Market? What It Means

You might have noticed speculation that OnePlus is likely to leave the European and American markets. For now, these are leaks and unofficial information (the company has repeatedly denied them in the past), so take it with a grain of salt. The main point, however, is this: even if confirmed, the phone will continue to receive promised system and security updates – OnePlus promises four new Android versions and regular patches for the Nord 5. So, for actual use, it’s not an obstacle. To be frank about other things: the phone is large and quite heavy, has a plastic body, lacks eSIM, microSD, and wireless charging, no charger is included in the box, and it comes with bloatware upon first boot (which can fortunately be uninstalled).

As a fast phone with an excellent display and battery life for seven thousand, it’s a strong offer. For those who mind the size and weight or want a compact phone with eSIM and wireless charging, they should look elsewhere.

Would speculation about the brand’s exit deter you, or do parameters and price decide?
