Groundbreaking ChatGPT Agent feature is now available in Czechia. It browses the web, performs analyses, and can save a lot of time

Last week, the generative service ChatGPT received a seemingly groundbreaking Agent feature, which, with the help of a virtual computer with web access and some other tools, can perform various tasks for its users. OpenAI surprisingly did not limit its availability to the most expensive Pro plan, priced at $200 per month, but also integrated it into the Plus and Team packages. Although the agent mode was not available in European Economic Area countries at launch, interested users from Czechia can now try it out.

Revolutionary AI feature arrives in EU countries

OpenAI had initially promised to do everything possible to bring the Agent feature to users in previously unsupported regions (primarily EU countries) as soon as possible. Already on Wednesday, they announced on the social network X that they had successfully rolled out the new feature to Pro plan subscribers in these regions and were beginning the expansion to accounts subscribing to the Plus package. We can confirm this ourselves, as we also gained access to the feature on Thursday morning.

Once the so-called agent mode becomes available to you, ChatGPT will inform you about it itself via a window with a brief description of the feature. As Plus subscription holders, we currently have 40 sessions available, which will be replenished only after a month once exhausted.

What is the Agent feature good for?

Unlike regular ChatGPT, which merely answers questions, Agent can actively interact with the web, analyze information, and create documents, all based on simple instructions from the user. It is a unified system combining three key capabilities – interaction with websites (formerly Operator), in-depth information analysis (Deep Research), and the conversational intelligence of ChatGPT itself.

In addition to being able to browse the web in agent mode, ChatGPT is also capable of controlling a terminal and has direct API access. Furthermore, it boasts the ability to integrate with third-party services, such as Gmail or the GitHub developer platform.

The user can interrupt or refine the running process at any time, or even take full control (for example, during login). However, it is still recommended that Agent not be used for risky tasks yet – it should even refuse to perform highly risky ones, such as bank transfers.
