Most smartwatches ask for a charger every few days. Honor goes the opposite way: the new Watch 6 are said by the manufacturer to last up to 35 days on a single charge, while remaining light and elegant. We’ve summarized everything they offer – including what to take with a grain of salt.

Light body that aims to look expensive

Honor places a strong emphasis on the Watch 6’s appearance. The case is made from recyclable aluminum alloy, and the basic black Shadow Black variant weighs only around 41 grams with a thickness of 10.8 millimeters. The more expensive Twilight Brown version uses 316L stainless steel, making it slightly heavier at about fifty grams, but giving it a more premium feel. Marketing speaks of a design inspired by racing car dashboards and a sandblasted surface resembling titanium – ultimately, it’s a discreet round watch with a rotating crown and beveled edges.

Gigantic battery with up to 35 days of endurance

The main draw is the battery. The body houses a 980 mAh battery, which, according to the brand, can last up to 35 days of operation. This figure, of course, must be taken with a certain reserve: Chinese manufacturers usually measure similar figures in power-saving mode with the always-on display off, limited heart rate measurement, and without active GPS. Therefore, expect about half that in full use – even so, it would still be an above-average battery life, rarely found among mainstream smartwatches.

Sport: over 120 modes and GPS for off-road

Watch 6 offer over 120 sport modes and track location with a dual GPS AccuTrack system. Trail running received special attention, with the watch adding an AI coach, ascent data, and alerts if you stray from the route. The display responds even with wet fingers, and the entire body is covered by IP69 water and dust resistance. You’ll also find niche modes for badminton or football – popular in China, but more of a bonus than a primary reason to buy for a domestic user.

Health measurement, including wrist blood pressure

In terms of health, the watch monitors heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress levels, and sleep phases. The Quick Health Scan function performs a rapid check of key values, and an automatic summary arrives every morning. Honor emphasizes the IntelliSense system, which is designed to collect a more accurate signal than standard optical sensors, and now also continuous background blood pressure measurement. However, it’s worth noting that optical wrist blood pressure measurement is not yet a substitute for a medical device – consider it indicative.

High brightness and smart features for everyday use

The display doesn’t lack power: a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits ensures readability even in direct sunlight. A Video Watch Face has been added among the watch faces, which can play a short video of up to ten seconds as a background. The watch can pair with two phones simultaneously, has a built-in voice recorder with AI transcription, wrist-turn gesture control, and NFC for contactless payments with both Mastercard and Visa cards.

Price and availability

In Europe, the Honor Watch 6 sells from 250 euros for the black variant (approximately 6,000 CZK), while the more expensive brown version costs 270 euros (around 6,500 CZK). Sales are currently ongoing in China and parts of European countries. The Czech representation of the brand has announced the launch of the watches, but the specific date of arrival on store shelves or the official price for our market is not yet known. However, we probably won’t have to wait much longer.

Would you trade frequent charging for a watch that lasts even a month?
