Is this the phone with the most interesting internals? See what the exposed RedMagic 11 Pro water cooling looks like Home News RedMagic 11 Pro arrives as the first phone with water cooling It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will also come to the Czech Republic Its internals were revealed by the well-known YouTuber from the JerryRigEverything channel Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 12. 11. 2025 09:30 Advertisement Nubia last month in China introduced the new generation of RedMagic gaming phones. It upgraded to the current flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and immediately after its release dominated the popular AnTuTu benchmark rankings. But that’s far from the most interesting thing – the argument supporting the claim that every Android enthusiast should know about this smartphone series sounds different. The Pro+ variant features a water cooling system. While manufacturers in the world of computer hardware have been toying with this idea for many years, and it has gradually become practically standard for more expensive setups, it is an absolute premiere in the smartphone market. If, while reading these lines, you are worried that it will remain only in China for at least several more years, let me disabuse you of that notion: the European version of RedMagic 11 Pro (this time truly just Pro, not Pro+) will also bring the AquaCore system and will be officially available on our market. Get to know RedMagic 11 Pro from the inside RedMagic 11 Pro will go on sale next Wednesday, but it traditionally reached some reviewers and influencers in advance. The well-known YouTuber Zack Nelson from the JerryRigEverything channel, famous for his uncompromising durability tests, also received it. In a new video, he disassembled the Chinese gaming beast and demonstrated how AquaCore works in practice. You will see a substantial part of the AquaCore water cooling without having to remove any components. RedMagic itself designed the construction so that it is possible to look directly at the blue circuit through the transparent glass layer on the back. Nelson explained in the video that as the back’s temperature increases, the bubbles inside gradually turn into more and more smaller dots. In a press release, RedMagic writes that a fluorinated liquid, similar to what AI data centers use, flows inside the circuit. “It is stable at sub-zero temperatures, fully sealed to prevent leaks, non-conductive to prevent short circuits, and thoroughly drop-tested to ensure reliability and safety,” it adds. In the video, Nelson also revealed a piezoelectric pump, which vibrates similarly to a sound transducer and drives the liquid in the circuit. He calls the mechanism fascinating, which is hard to disagree with. What do you think of the RedMagic 11 Pro and its cooling system?
