Laptop with the latest Intel arrived in Czechia. Its integrated graphics can handle Cyberpunk too

One of the first laptops with a Panther Lake generation processor has arrived in Czechia – and it’s more interesting than it seems. You can now buy the MSI Prestige 14 Flip AI+ on Alza for 56,990 CZK, offering a solid combination: a rotating OLED display, 1.37 kg weight, and integrated graphics that can handle demanding games.

👍 Get it if you want one lightweight machine for work, drawing, and occasional gaming, and don’t want to carry a gaming laptop.
🤔 Hesitate if you are more demanding about the display – 270 nits and 60 Hz is below average for a laptop costing almost sixty thousand.

Panther Lake changes the rules for integrated graphics

For years, it was true that integrated graphics (at least from Intel) meant “forget about demanding games.” The Intel Arc B390, which this processor has, fundamentally changes that according to foreign tests. PC Gamer measured 64 frames per second in Cyberpunk 2077 in Full HD at medium details without upscaling and wrote that the iGPU delivers results you would expect from a “real” graphics card – roughly double the performance compared to previous generations of Intel and AMD. Club386, in turn, measured scores in AI tests between mobile RTX 5050 and RTX 5060, which is remarkable for integrated graphics.

The Core Ultra X9 378H itself is a sixteen-core chip manufactured by Intel using the new 18A process: four performance cores with a 5 GHz boost, eight efficient cores, and four low-power cores, plus an NPU with 50 TOPS for Copilot+ AI features. Notebookcheck describes it as the second fastest model in the entire Panther Lake series. Practically, this means that this laptop can handle video editing, code compilation, and lighter gaming – all while weighing only 1.37 kg.

Flips into a tablet and memory is replaceable

The Flip designation means a convertible design – the display rotates 360 degrees, turning the laptop into a tablet. With the stylus included and a touch-enabled OLED panel, it’s practical for drawing, taking notes, or signing documents. The panel has a 14″ diagonal, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, ensuring accurate colors.

A technical detail that few will appreciate but is crucial: the memory is LPCAMM2 type, meaning modular – unlike most thin laptops where RAM is soldered on, here you can replace it with a larger one over time. This significantly extends the lifespan of a machine intended to last for years. Additionally, it features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2, HDMI, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0, an 81 Wh battery, and a metal body with MIL-STD-810H certification. MSI also provides a 36-month warranty.

Two things that spoil the impression

The display is the weakest link. A resolution of 1920 × 1200, only 60 Hz, and a brightness of 270 nits are values one would not expect from a laptop costing almost sixty thousand – competitors at this price commonly offer sharper panels with higher refresh rates and brightness over 400 nits. Moreover, it is glossy, so expect reflections near a window.

The second thing is the missing charging adapter. The laptop charges via USB-C in the range of 15 to 100 W, so a more powerful GaN charger will suffice, but you should add hundreds to thousands of crowns to your budget. If you are tempted by the latest Intel and want a lightweight convertible machine with solid performance, the Prestige 14 Flip is an interesting choice – just go into it knowing that the display is a compromise here.
