Now, the last missing piece of the puzzle has been added — the specific date of the global sales launch. If a well-known insider is to be believed, both phones will be revealed to the world as early as May 28. That is, in about two weeks. May Date and Possibly Xiaomi 17 Max in Europe What to Expect from the 17T and 17T Pro The global presentation should also include the Indian market, which is key for the T series. For us in the Czech Republic, this means that the phones will likely hit shelves during June. May Date and Possibly Xiaomi 17 Max in Europe An insider, who has had solid success with Xiaomi in recent weeks, mentions another interesting detail besides the date. Xiaomi is reportedly considering sending the Xiaomi 17 Max model into international distribution as well, which was previously expected purely for the Chinese market. This variant should be the most powerful — a 6.9″ display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a massive 8000mAh battery. For Xiaomi to decide to bring three flagship models to Europe at once would be surprising, to say the least. What to Expect from the 17T and 17T Pro As a reminder — the base Xiaomi 17T should get a 6.59″ AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to feature a Dimensity 8500-Ultra with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. The trio of rear cameras includes a 50Mpx Light Fusion 800 main sensor, a 50Mpx telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom, and a 12Mpx ultrawide lens. The selfie camera has 32 Mpx. The battery has a capacity of 6500 mAh and charges at 67 W. The construction is plastic, and Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and Android 16 with HyperOS overlay should be available. The price starts at 749 euros (approximately 18,300 CZK) in France for the base 12/256 GB variant. The higher-end Xiaomi 17T Pro goes significantly further. It will get a 6.83″ OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a substantially more powerful Dimensity 9500, and a 7000 mAh battery that charges at 100W wired or 50W wirelessly. The main sensor is upgraded to a 50Mpx Light Fusion 950, while the rest of the camera setup remains the same as the base model. The construction is metal and supports Wi-Fi 7. The price for the Pro variant with 12 GB RAM and 512GB storage is expected to be 999 euros, which is approximately 25,000 CZK. This price tag is interesting for two reasons. Firstly, it means that the Pro version costs practically the same as the base Xiaomi 17 at the time of its premiere. Secondly, Xiaomi is blurring the lines between the T series and classic flagships without the T suffix in Europe. Buyers will thus have to decide whether they prefer a compact format or the larger and more powerful body of the 17T Pro. Both models will be released in three color variants — blue, black, and purple. If confirmed on May 28, expect a wave of official materials, discount promotions, and pre-order bonuses in the coming days and weeks. Xiaomi is regularly generous in this regard, so the real purchase price for a Czech customer could be a few thousand lower than the official one.
