Do you ride a bike or motorcycle and use your phone as a navigation device? Then you’ll be interested in a fresh new item in the FIXED range. The FIXED Bikee Anti-Shock has only been on sale for a short time, but it has already been discounted at Alza to 629 CZK after entering the code ALZADNY10 (from the standard 699 CZK). This is a brand new model that adds something missing from basic holders – an anti-vibration module protecting the camera from shocks.

Quick Summary:
Makes sense if you use your phone as a navigation device on a motorcycle or e-bike and want to protect its camera stabilization.
⚠️ Consider if your phone is wider than 8.8 cm or has a diagonal larger than 6.8″ – it won’t fit in the holder.
💡 For 629 CZK, it’s one of the more affordable ways to protect your phone from vibrations without needing a separate anti-vibration module.

Why even bother with an anti-vibration module

This is perhaps the most important part of the article. Modern smartphones with optical image stabilization (OIS) are significantly more sensitive to vibrations than older models. Stabilization contains magnetically levitating elements that can be permanently damaged by vibrations at the frequency of a motorcycle or terrain unevenness. Apple itself has issued an official warning that frequent use of an iPhone on motorcycles (especially those with high engine displacement) can lead to irreversible damage to both OIS and autofocus. Other manufacturers now have the same warning.

Premium brands like Quad Lock or Peak Design offer solutions, selling separate anti-vibration modules for 1,000 CZK and more as additional accessories. The FIXED Bikee Anti-Shock integrates this module directly into the holder, and the entire package comes out to 629 CZK with the current discount. For motorcyclists who mount their phone daily, it’s a practical form of insurance – it pays to protect a 25,000 CZK phone even with relatively inexpensive accessories.

Key parameters: compatibility and construction

The holder is universal for handlebars with a diameter of 20–32 mm, so it fits common road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, motorcycles, and e-scooters. The phone must have a diagonal of up to 6.8 inches and a width of 6.2 to 8.8 cm.

The construction is based on plastic clamps with silicone padding, which hold the phone without scratching even at higher speeds. A 360° swivel joint allows the phone to be set in a vertical or horizontal position – vertical is typically better for Google Maps and Mapy.cz, while horizontal is better for tracking routes in a ridelog. Once the joint is tightened, the angle is firmly secured, so it doesn’t move during the ride. The manufacturer provides a 36-month warranty for the product through its own e-shop, while Alza typically offers 24 months.

Practical aspects: one-handed operation and mounting

What is crucial for a bike or motorcycle holder is the speed of attaching and removing the phone. The Bikee Anti-Shock has a smart locking system that remembers your phone’s size – when first attached, the holder remembers the width, and for subsequent uses, you just insert the phone and lock it with one motion. In daily use, this is the difference between a few seconds and half a minute. One-handed operation makes sense especially for motorcyclists who need to quickly get their phone into the holder when stopped, without having to remove their gloves.

Mounting on the handlebars is mechanical, requiring no screwdriver – just attach the holder, tighten, and you’re done. On sportier motorcycles with limited space near the handlebars, it might be necessary to slightly move the clutch or brake lever by a few millimeters, but this applies to most holders in this category. The anti-vibration module is integrated into the base of the holder, so it does not affect the width or height of the entire assembly.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you have an iPhone Pro Max in a thick case or an extremely wide Android “shovel,” check the dimensions – the 88 mm limit is already borderline for some flagships. Similarly, if you’re only looking for occasional use on a regular bike path or urban rides without long journeys over uneven terrain, the anti-vibration module is more of an insurance than a necessity, and a standard 300 CZK holder will suffice. And if you prefer magnetic MagSafe attachment directly to the back of your iPhone, opt for the Bikee MagSafe variant or models from Quad Lock.

Verdict: a new product that makes sense mainly for motorcyclists

The FIXED Bikee Anti-Shock for 629 CZK is one of the most affordable holders with an integrated anti-vibration module on the Czech market. If you use your phone on a motorcycle for navigation and want to protect the OIS camera from vibrations, it makes sense to invest an extra 70 CZK compared to standard holders without this module. As a fresh new product, it doesn’t yet have extensive reviews, but the FIXED brand has a solid reputation in the mobile accessories segment and a 36-month warranty through its own e-shop. A clear purchase for motorcyclists, and more of a peace-of-mind insurance for cyclists.

Do you use your phone as a navigation device on a bike or motorcycle, or do you prefer a dedicated navigation device?
