The new S90H series (successor to S90F) with model year 2026 is just one step below the absolute flagship S95H and aims to offer the best of Samsung’s portfolio without the highest price tag. On Alza, prices start at 29,990 CZK for the 42″ version. Six sizes, prices starting from just under thirty thousand QD-OLED, or WRGB? It's not entirely clear in the Czech Republic What Samsung put into the S90H Six sizes, prices starting from just under thirty thousand The S90H is available in a wide range of diagonals, making it suitable for a small study as well as a large living room: 42″ Samsung QE42S90H — 29,990 CZK 48″ Samsung QE48S90H — 34,990 CZK 55″ Samsung QE55S90H — 44,990 CZK 65″ Samsung QE65S90H — 59,990 CZK 77″ Samsung QE77S90H — 89,990 CZK 83″ Samsung QE83S90H — 109,990 CZK Additionally, a “Gift with TV” promotion applies to selected models — Galaxy Buds 4 headphones, The Freestyle portable projector, or a 1,500 CZK cashback, depending on the specific size. It’s not entirely clear in the Czech Republic Here comes an interesting detail worth noting. The S90H series does not use one type of OLED panel across all sizes. According to foreign information, two different panels alternate depending on the diagonal: the mid-range sizes 55″, 65″, and 77″ are expected to feature QD-OLED panels from Samsung Display, while the smaller (42″, 48″) and largest 83″ versions are expected to use WRGB OLED panels from LG Display. Samsung S90H na Alze The practical difference is not negligible. QD-OLED typically features richer colors and higher peak brightness, while WRGB OLED offers a better brightness ratio for large white areas and often a lower risk of burn-in. The complication, however, is that Samsung does not acknowledge this difference in specifications and may select panels differently in various regions — depending on supply agreements and current availability. For Czech units, we currently have no official information on which panel you will find in which size, not even in the documentation from Alza. What Samsung put into the S90H Under the hood, the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor with 128 neural networks is at work, which is Samsung’s latest generation silicon used for TVs this year. It handles image enhancement, 4K AI Upscaling for older content, and intelligent sound processing — such as separating voice, music, and effects, so you can adjust commentary in a sports broadcast independently of audience noise. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, and gaming features include NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM, and Gaming Hub for cloud gaming. The display is covered by a matte anti-reflective layer, which Samsung calls Glare Free. Sound is handled by a 2.1-channel system with 40 W output and Dolby Atmos support, which is a solid foundation for an OLED TV without an external soundbar. Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and an integrated SmartThings hub for smart home. The software runs on Tizen OS with One UI, and Samsung promises 7 years of updates. One thing Samsung has long lacked, and the S90H is no exception, is Dolby Vision support. Instead, you’ll find HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive, and HDR10+ Gaming, which are comparable formats in terms of quality, but a large portion of streamed movies and series are released in Dolby Vision. The S90H is primarily a TV for people who want OLED picture quality without the premium for the absolute top-tier series. The NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, matte panel, and 165Hz refresh rate make this series one of the best-equipped OLED offerings in the fifty-thousand price range.
