Samsung brought new MiniLED TVs to the Czech Republic! Prices start at 10,990 CZK

Samsung is expanding its Czech offering with a new line of Mini LED televisions under the designation M80H. The 2026 model year brings Mini LED backlighting with 4K resolution to lower price points — the basic 43″ variant starts on Alza for 10,990 CZK. Let’s take a look at what you get for that and where Samsung, on the other hand, saved money.

Six sizes, prices starting from eleven thousand

The M80H series is available in six sizes, so it will fit practically into any living room — from a small study to a spacious hall. Prices are unusually friendly for the new Mini LED generation:

• 55″ Samsung UE55M80H — 14,990 CZK (with cashback 13,490 CZK)
• 65″ Samsung UE65M80H — 18,990 CZK (with cashback 17,490 CZK)
• 75″ Samsung UE75M80H — 26,990 CZK
• 85″ Samsung UE85M80H — 39,990 CZK

Samsung has also launched a “Gift with TV” promotion, where with selected 55″ and 65″ models, you get a cashback of 1,500 CZK — effectively 13,490 CZK for the 55″ and 17,490 CZK for the 65″. The catch is that only the first 600 registered customers will receive the bonus, the promotion runs until June 7, 2026, and the condition is to write a verified review with the retailer.

What Samsung put into the M80H

The main draw is Mini LED backlighting, which, compared to conventional LED TVs, brings higher contrast, better shadow handling, and deeper blacks. Samsung does not specify the exact number of dimming zones for this series, which, for lower-end series, means it won’t be hundreds of zones like with more expensive Neo QLED models. The image is handled by the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor with 20 neural networks, which manages features such as 4K AI Upscaling for improving lower-resolution content or automatic image and sound adjustment according to content type.

For gamers, Samsung has prepared a 144Hz gaming mode, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, and variable refresh rate. The software runs on the Tizen with One UI platform, and it includes Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Oneplay, and cloud gaming. Samsung promises 7 years of updates for this series, an integrated SmartThings hub for smart home control, and the Knox security platform.

Where savings were made, however

It’s important to be upfront here: the M80H is not a flagship series. Samsung maintains its Neo QLED models with thousands of dimming zones, S-series OLED panels, and design pieces like The Frame at the top — the M80H is a significantly stripped-down Mini LED variant for people who want the technology at a reasonable price.

This is reflected in the features. The sound system has only 20 W, which is very little for a 55″ and larger TV — for a cinematic experience, you will need to buy a soundbar. Furthermore, you will find only a single USB port, which will soon become an issue if you want to connect a mouse, keyboard, or disk to the TV. Samsung does not directly state details about the number of HDMI ports, their version, or the lower brightness limit for some sizes, so before purchasing a specific model, I recommend reviewing the complete specifications.

However, if you are looking for Mini LED and a manageable compromise is enough for you — perhaps with a separate soundbar that you will buy later — the M80H is a reasonable candidate at the set prices. It faces fierce competition, though: Chinese brands with better-equipped models also operate in a similar price range. Samsung relies on its well-known name, long software support, and the trust it has built with customers over the years.
