While last year’s Galaxy S25 series was Qi2 Ready, it lacked integrated magnets – users had to purchase special cases. The Galaxy S26 series should finally change this, and Samsung is also preparing corresponding accessories for it. Renowned leaker Roland Quandt has now revealed a power bank, designated as the Samsung Magnetic Wireless Powerbank EB-U2500, in an article on WinFuture. What will the power bank offer? Practical stand included Price and availability Samsung catches up with the competition What will the power bank offer? According to leaked information, the EB-U2500 power bank has a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. In practice, this means it will almost certainly not be able to fully charge even the basic Galaxy S26, let alone the larger Plus and Ultra models – it is necessary to account for losses during wireless power transmission. Wireless charging according to the Qi2 standard operates at 15 W. Those who prefer faster charging can use the USB-C port. Via cable, the power bank will deliver up to 20 W with support for both USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm QuickCharge. The power bank itself can then be charged at 25 W. Practical stand included An interesting accessory is the fold-out arm, which allows the power bank to be used as a stand for the phone. This means you won’t have to prop up your phone against an object when watching videos or making video calls. This is a feature also offered by a number of competing MagSafe power banks for iPhones. Price and availability The recommended price for the European market has been set at 59.90 euros, which is approximately 1,500 CZK. Given the 5,000 mAh capacity, this is a relatively high amount, but it is not surprising for official Samsung accessories. The power bank should appear in stores before the launch of the Galaxy S26 series, which is scheduled to be unveiled on February 25. Samsung catches up with the competition It should be noted that Samsung is somewhat behind the competition regarding Qi2 support. The flagship Google Pixel 10 phones came with integrated magnets for full utilization of this standard last year, and the manufacturer offers a range of its own accessories for them. However, better late than never – Galaxy S26 owners will finally get full support for magnetic accessories without the need for special covers. Would you get a magnetic power bank from Samsung?
