If you have a functional model on your finger, no one has probably forced you to think about an upgrade yet. The Chinese brand RingConn has now decided to change that. Earlier this year, at CES 2026, it unveiled a brand new generation of its ring, designated as RingConn Gen 3, which finally adds one of the most missing elements across the entire segment: vibrating feedback. To this, we can also add the announced blood pressure monitoring and significantly longer battery life. After several months of waiting, the manufacturer has now launched pre-orders, and the first units will start shipping to customers at the end of May. Five Colors and a Tenfold Expanded Size Range Finally, a Smart Ring That Lets You Know Blood Pressure Monitoring, but with a Big Asterisk Up to 14 Days Battery Life Beats Samsung Galaxy Ring Sensors and Features You'll Find Inside Price and Availability: Not Shipped to the Czech Republic by Default Who is the RingConn Gen 3 for? Five Colors and a Tenfold Expanded Size Range In terms of design, RingConn opted for a titanium construction with an inner layer of medical-grade epoxy resin. A thickness of 2.3 mm and a weight between 2.5 and 3.5 grams depending on the size place the Gen 3 among the standard representatives of the category. IP68 water resistance and 10 ATM certification allow submersion up to 100 meters, so you can swim in the sea or wear the ring while showering. There are five shades and three finishes to choose from. Specifically, RingConn offers polished Future Silver, Royal Gold, matte Matte Black, and brushed variants Brushed Silver and Brushed Rose Gold. Compared to the previous generation, the number of sizes has also expanded, now totaling 10 (from size 6 to 15). The manufacturer warns that the Gen 3 sizing system differs from older models, so it’s safer to order a free sizing kit first and only then choose a specific size. Finally, a Smart Ring That Lets You Know The main novelty of Gen 3 is the integrated vibration motor, which distinguishes RingConn not only from its previous models but also from most competitors like Oura Ring or Ultrahuman. Until now, smart rings conveyed all feedback via a connected phone, so if the mobile was in another room or on silent mode, you missed important notifications. However, there is also a significant limitation that needs to be pointed out. Vibrations are not used for regular app notifications, incoming calls, or alarms. RingConn has reserved them exclusively for health alerts, movement reminders, hygiene alerts, and low battery warnings. So, if you were hoping the ring would replace the role of smartwatches in notifying you about messages, you will likely be disappointed. Blood Pressure Monitoring, but with a Big Asterisk The second major draw of the new model is Vascular Health Insights, which are overviews of vascular health associated with blood pressure monitoring. While the ring cannot perform a one-time measurement on demand, it instead automatically monitors vascular strain and long-term trends at night, helping you detect potential changes based on these. The catch is also that blood pressure monitoring will not yet be available at the start of sales, and RingConn promises to add it with a later software update. Up to 14 Days Battery Life Beats Samsung Galaxy Ring The third highlight is the battery, which extends the battery life even further than the previous generation. With vibrations enabled, RingConn promises 10 to 12 days of continuous operation, and up to 14 days with vibrations off. For comparison, the competing Samsung Galaxy Ring, according to the manufacturer, lasts a maximum of 7 days, so the new RingConn easily doubles its performance in this discipline. All this without a subscription Adam Kurfürst News Adam Kurfürst News Along with the ring, you will receive a universal wireless charging case in the package, which holds enough power for an additional 150 days in standby mode. A full charge of the ring itself takes approximately 90 minutes, while the case recharges in about 120 minutes. The good news is that the new case is universal across all sizes, eliminating the problem of the previous generation where customers had to choose a charger specifically fitting their particular size. Sensors and Features You’ll Find Inside Inside the ring, there is an optical heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, and a three-axis accelerometer. This setup ensures continuous 24-hour monitoring of heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiratory rate, skin temperature, stress, steps, and calories burned. At night, sleep analysis, its phases, and sleep apnea risk indication are added. For women, a feature for predicting the entire menstrual cycle has been added. The device stores measured data for up to 10 days offline if you don’t have a connected phone nearby. In terms of compatibility, the ring works with phones running Android 10 and newer or iPhones with iOS 17 and higher. Connection is handled by Bluetooth 5.0, and data can be synchronized with Google Health Connect and Apple Health services. Important detail: access to any features does not require a monthly subscription, unlike the competing Oura Ring. Price and Availability: Not Shipped to the Czech Republic by Default The RingConn Gen 3 has a base price of 349 dollars, which converts to approximately 7,200 CZK. As part of a pre-sale promotion, which will last until May 28, 2026, you can get it for 314 dollars, or approximately 6,500 CZK. RingConn does not have a Czech representation, and you won’t find it in domestic stores yet. However, the manufacturer ships goods to European Union countries from a European warehouse for free and provides a two-year warranty within the EEA. Who is the RingConn Gen 3 for? If you are looking for a smart ring for long-term health monitoring and dislike classic wristwatches or bracelets, the RingConn Gen 3 is one of the best choices on the market. It beats the competition in battery life, offers a complete set of health metrics without monthly fees, and additionally adds the long-awaited vibrating feedback, which neither the Samsung Galaxy Ring nor the current Oura Ring offer yet. With a price tag of around 7,000 CZK, the Gen 3 ranks among premium rings. The now cheaper Samsung Galaxy Ring offers basic health tracking with better integration into the Samsung ecosystem, but with half the battery life. The Oura Ring, on the other hand, offers more accurate sleep analysis according to some users, but its subscription model deters many potential buyers. Why (not) get the RingConn Gen 3?
