Sonos Beam 2 with Dolby Atmos significantly discounted! Also serves for music via Wi-Fi

The Sonos Beam 2nd generation doesn’t have to wait for an evening movie to be useful. In addition to Dolby Atmos support, it also offers music playback from Spotify, Tidal, or Apple Music. Alza is now offering the white variant for 8,743 CZK with code ALZADNY30. The offer is therefore worth considering, especially where one sound system is intended to serve both the TV and standalone listening.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: those interested in TV sound who will also use multiroom for music in multiple rooms.
⚠️ Consider: The Beam has only one HDMI connector. Do not expect multiple HDMI connections directly on the sound system.
💡 The discount is 30% off the regular price of 12,490 CZK stated by Alza. You get the lower price by entering the code; it’s not an automatic discount.

You can control music from Android too

AirPlay is not the only way to listen. The Beam supports control from both Android and iOS, and Deezer is also among the listed music services. For a household where phones from both platforms are used, it’s crucial that control is not limited to Apple devices.

The system can be connected to the home network via Wi-Fi, or by cable to the LAN connector. If you have an Ethernet connection near your TV, you can use a wired connection and not rely on a wireless signal.

Atmos is not the only supported format

In addition to Dolby Atmos, the Beam also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Digital. The manufacturer lists the system itself as active with a 3.0 channel setup. Format support is useful information for selection, but it doesn’t tell you how convincingly the spatial sound will perform in your room.

On Alza, the model has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 137 reviews. The seller currently states more than five units of the white variant are in stock.

Do you use your soundbar only for TV, or do you also listen to music on it?
