The TCL brand, known primarily for its televisions, is expanding its audio portfolio in the Czech market. It has newly introduced five soundbar models across two series and is also preparing to launch Z100 wireless speakers.

Premium Q Series: three models, three price categories

TCL builds on the same product strategy as with its televisions – the Q series represents the higher class. The most expensive model Q85H Pro (16,990 CZK) offers a 7.1.4-channel setup with a total output of 860 W. It is a soundbar with Ray·Danz technology, which uses sound waveguides to create a wider soundstage.

The cheaper Q75HE (12,990 CZK) comes with a 5.1.2-channel system and 620 W of power, while the Q65H (9,990 CZK) offers 5.1-channel sound with 580 W of power.

Interestingly, this “weakest” model from the Q series received the “BEST BUY SOUNDBAR 2025–2026” award from the EISA association, which indicates a good price-performance ratio.

All three models share support for spatial audio formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which are standards commonly available on Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming platforms. TCL also implements the AI Sonic-Adaptation feature, which is designed to analyze room acoustics and adjust settings – however, similar features are also offered by competitors like Samsung or Sony.

Basic S Series: more affordable alternatives

For smaller rooms or users with a more limited budget, TCL offers the S series. The S55HE model, priced at 5,990 CZK, features a 2.1-channel setup with a wireless subwoofer. It supports Dolby Atmos, but only in virtual surround sound mode, which in practice means a significantly more limited spatial effect than with the Q series.

The most affordable addition is the S45HE, priced at 2,990 CZK. It is a basic 2.0-channel soundbar without a subwoofer, which again offers only a virtual Dolby Atmos effect. In this price category, it is more about improving TV sound than a full-fledged surround sound system.

Z100 Wireless Speakers: the most interesting for last

The most technologically interesting product is the Z100 wireless speakers, which TCL will launch on the Czech market in September for 4,990 CZK per piece. The main advantage is said to be Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology, which, unlike traditional setups, allows for flexible speaker placement.

The system automatically analyzes speaker placement and optimizes sound according to their actual position in the room. Up to four Z100s can be connected with compatible TCL televisions to create a wireless home cinema setup in a configuration of up to 7.1.4. However, it is important to note that the speakers function fully only with TCL televisions, which significantly limits their versatility.

For owners of other TV brands, the Z100 at least offers the option of stereo listening via Bluetooth – however, in this mode, a maximum of two speakers can be paired, and without Dolby Atmos support.

What do you think of the new TCL speakers and soundbars?
