A notebook that has everything that is noticeably missing today in times of memory crisis. The ASUS Vivobook S 16 now costs 24 990 Kč with code ALZADNY25 instead of 33 320 Kč and offers 32 GB DDR5, a terabyte SSD, and a 16″ OLED – a configuration where all three items are usually skimped on today.

👍 Take it if you want a powerful notebook for image work, video, multitasking, and lighter gaming, and you appreciate Copilot+ features.
🤔 Hesitate if you want to play modern AAA titles in high details – for that, you need a dedicated graphics card.
💰 Price: 24 990 Kč for a ten-core Zen 5, 32 GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, and OLED with 95% DCI-P3, adapter included.

Radeon 880M is one of the best integrated graphics cards

The Radeon 880M is one of the most powerful integrated graphics cards you’ll find in notebooks today – it can handle video editing, photo work, and esports titles like CS2, Valorant, or League of Legends at smooth frame rates, and with FSR enabled, it can even manage newer games at lower details. So, it’s definitely not a weak graphics card; it just doesn’t aim for AAA titles at high settings, for which you need a dedicated card.

The rest of the equipment is consistently strong. The Ryzen AI 9 465 is a ten-core Zen 5 architecture chip with a boost of 5 GHz, 34MB cache, and an NPU with 50 TOPS of performance (73 TOPS total), so the notebook meets the requirements for Windows Copilot+ features. The combination of 32 GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD means the machine will last for years without slowing down, and you won’t have to delete data due to updates.

The display is a 16″ OLED with a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 95% DCI-P3 coverage – a color-accurate panel with perfect blacks, suitable for image work. The metal and plastic body weighs 1.7 kg with a thickness of 17.9 mm, the battery has 70 Wh and charges via USB-C. It also features a backlit Czech keyboard, Full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and HDMI, plus MIL-STD-810H certification and one year of accidental damage protection free of charge upon registration with ASUS.

Where compromises are needed

The display is beautiful, but it only runs at 60 Hz – anyone used to the smoothness of 120Hz panels will notice it when scrolling pages. The surface is also glossy, and the brightness of 300 nits is average, so expect reflections in a sunlit room. Unfortunately, this is standard for OLED panels in this price category.

The second thing is that this is a notebook with integrated graphics, so despite the performance of the Radeon 880M, playing modern AAA games in their full glory requires a machine with a dedicated card – which, however, will be heavier, noisier, and have shorter battery life. For anyone looking for a quiet and lightweight notebook with a generous amount of memory, a large OLED display, and performance for work and occasional gaming, this is one of the best offers on the market for 24 990 Kč.

Is a notebook with integrated graphics enough for you today, or do you need a dedicated card?
