Do you have a weak signal in your garden? Or do you run a cafe with outdoor seating? TP-Link Deco BE25-Outdoor is the brand’s first outdoor mesh unit, bringing the Wi-Fi 7 standard to the outdoors. Priced at 5,149 crowns, it promises speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps and, most importantly, it can withstand outdoor conditions all year round, regardless of the weather.

Wi-Fi 7 brings wider channels up to 320 MHz, higher 4K-QAM modulation, and Multi-Link Operation technology, which can combine bands for lower latency. In practice, this means you can stream 4K video, play online games, or operate security cameras in your garden without a hitch.

Withstands Frost and Scorching Summer

The most interesting thing about the BE25-Outdoor is not so much Wi-Fi 7, but rather its extreme durability. IP65 protection means complete protection against dust and resistance to jetting water. In other words, a thunderstorm, snowfall, or dusty gale will not harm this router.

Even more impressive is the operating temperature range. From -30°C to +60°C is a range that will truly cover any weather in our latitudes. The router can be mounted on a wall, mast, or pole.

One Cable for Everything Thanks to PoE

The ingenious solution provides power via PoE (Power over Ethernet). Instead of searching for an outdoor outlet and pulling two cables, a single Ethernet cable is sufficient to provide both data and electricity. A PoE adapter is included in the package, so if you don’t have a PoE switch, you’ll definitely appreciate it.

For installation, this means enormous simplification. You run a cable from the house to the garden, connect the router, and you’re done. No need for extension cords, waterproof junction boxes, or outdoor outlets.

Fits into Any Deco Network

If you already have TP-Link Deco units at home, the BE25-Outdoor will connect to them automatically. This creates a unified mesh network that covers both the house and the garden, with seamless switching between units.

The dual-band configuration offers 2,882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Additionally, it features Beamforming technology, which directs the signal directly to connected devices.

Management is done via the TP-Link Deco app, where you’ll also find the HomeShield security package. This includes parental controls, content filtering, threat detection, and a guest network. Voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant also works.

Price in CZ

At 5,149 crowns, the BE25-Outdoor is not the cheapest outdoor router. But when you consider that you get Wi-Fi 7, extreme durability, and integration into a mesh network, the new product justifies its price.

What do you think of the new TP-Link router?
