Most phones under 20,000 CZK offer either no telephoto lens, 2× digital zoom disguised as “optical zoom,” or, in better cases, a dedicated telephoto lens that is often quite limited by either a small sensor, resolution, or a combination of both. This is a parameter otherwise found in flagships costing 20,000 CZK and more.

What does this mean in practice? You can photograph distant objects with detail that you simply won’t get with cheaper phones. The lenses are also equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), so even in low light or cold weather, where your hands naturally shake, you can take sharp photos. The main 50MPx camera uses an OmniVision Light Fusion 900 sensor with a size of 1/1.31″ and an aperture of f/1.6.

The camera collaborates with Leica, so you have access to Leica Natural and Leica Vibrant profiles – the first gives more natural colors, while the second offers a more vibrant and contrasting rendition. In Geekbench 6, the phone scored 2,630 points in single-core and 7,998 points in multi-core tests. The Immortalis-G925 graphics chip then achieved 5,959 points in 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, which is very close to the Adreno 830 from Snapdragon 8 Elite.

What does this mean in practice? The phone handles everything – from casual web browsing and social media to demanding games like Genshin Impact or CarX Street at high settings. During extended gaming, the phone heats up (temperature can exceed 40 °C), but it doesn’t slow down or stutter.

Moreover, if you edit videos, the 15T Pro handles it without issues. Exporting a two-minute 4K video in CapCut takes approximately 2 minutes and 20 seconds, which is comparable to iPhones. The phone can record up to 8K video at 30 fps or 4K at 120 fps with HDR10+.

3. Battery and charging without compromises

The Xiaomi 15T Pro has a battery with a capacity of 5,500 mAh, which is slightly above average for today’s standards. In real-world use, this means one to two days of battery life depending on how intensively you use the phone.

When the power runs out, 90W wired charging will save you. The phone charges to 50% in just 15 minutes, and fully in 36 minutes. This is significantly faster than iPhones or Galaxy phones.

Furthermore, the phone supports 50W wireless charging, which cheaper competitors often lack entirely. If you have a wireless charger at home or plan to get one, this is a big plus. While you need a proprietary Xiaomi charger to achieve full wireless charging power, standard Qi chargers also work.

4. A price that makes sense

Here comes the most important reason. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has an official price of 18,990 CZK, but in promotional offers, it can be found for as low as 15,490 CZK. For this price, you get a phone with features that competitors offer at significantly higher prices.
