Xiaomi has finally launched the global rollout of the long-awaited HyperOS 3 update. Through its official X social media account, the manufacturer announced that the first devices – Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro – are already receiving the stable version of the new system. These recently launched models came to market with the previous HyperOS 2.2 version, despite being introduced alongside the new system.

First phones receive HyperOS 3

According to Xiaomi’s official announcement, the update begins with the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro models, which are receiving firmware labeled OS3.0.3.0.WOEEUXM and OS3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM, respectively. The rollout is happening in batches, with European users among the first to receive the new system, according to XiaomiTime.

What’s new in HyperOS 3

The new system introduces significant visual changes, including redesigned icons and battery or signal indicators. The main new feature is Hyper Island, a dynamic notification island inspired by competing solutions. The system also offers improved inter-device integration with the ability to redirect calls and SMS in the style of iPhones or screen sharing with laptops. Xiaomi has implemented proximity file sharing similar to AirDrop for quick file transfer between brand phones. The manufacturer states up to a 30% performance improvement thanks to system process optimization.

Update schedule for other devices

Xiaomi had previously published a complete schedule for the HyperOS 3 rollout to older models. The first wave will cover the period from October to November 2025 and primarily includes the Xiaomi 15 flagships and this year’s mid-range phones. In this phase, the entire Redmi Note 14 series, POCO F7 and POCO X7 models, including their Pro variants, will receive the update. Among tablets, Xiaomi Pad Mini and the Xiaomi Pad 7 family will gain support.

The second wave, scheduled for November to December 2025, will bring updates for last year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 models, as well as the 14T series phones. This group also includes mid-range phones Redmi 15, Redmi 14C, and a wide portfolio of POCO devices, including F6, X6 Pro, and M-series models. In total, this will involve 21 phones and 5 tablets.

Owners of older devices face the longest wait. The third wave, spread across the period from December 2025 to March 2026, will cover the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 12 series phones, including their Pro and T variants. Xiaomi 13 Lite, POCO F5 models, and the complete Redmi Note 13 series will also gain support. In this phase, Xiaomi will update 31 phones and 5 tablets, including affordable models like Redmi 15C or POCO C85.

Among wearables, Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm and the fitness tracker Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Glimmer Edition already received HyperOS 3 upon their launch. Other versions of the Smart Band 10, including the ceramic edition, will gradually receive it as well.

HyperOS 3 represents a significant step towards creating a connected Xiaomi HyperConnect ecosystem, unifying phones, tablets, and smart home devices under a single environment. Future updates are expected to further expand AI capabilities and inter-device collaboration.
