Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 enters the global market: 74 Wh for airplanes and three devices at once Home News Xiaomi has added a new Power Bank 20000 22.5 W power bank to its global website. 20,000 mAh (74 Wh) capacity, three ports, and charging three devices simultaneously. Not yet available here — global release is expected sometime in 2026. Sdílejte: Petr Mišák Published: 3. 7. 2026 07:30 Xiaomi has quietly refreshed one of its most popular power banks. The new Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 (22.5 W) has appeared on the brand’s global website, boasting a trio of ports, airplane-friendly capacity, and a robust set of safety features. However, there’s one catch — you can’t buy it here yet. What can the new power bank do? Under the elegant black casing, two 10,000mAh cells are hidden, totaling 20,000 mAh and 74 Wh. This is a capacity that will easily pass airport security (the limit is 100 Wh), and you can charge your phone up to four times. Xiaomi has listed the new product on its global website and focused mainly on versatility: it has one USB-C and two USB-A ports, so it can charge three devices simultaneously — and not just phones. Through the low-current mode, activated by a double press of the button, it can also charge headphones, smartwatches, or fitness trackers, which power banks otherwise tend to “overcharge” and shut down. Each of the three ports can handle up to 22.5 W, and the USB-C port also supports two-way charging, allowing the power bank itself to be recharged in approximately 6.9 hours. A decent set of protections is also included — against overheating, overvoltage, short circuit, overcharging, and deep discharge. Airlines don’t monitor milliamp-hours, but energy in watt-hours (Wh). Up to 100 Wh, you can take a power bank in your carry-on luggage without issue; between 100 and 160 Wh, only with airline approval; and above 160 Wh, not at all. Lithium power banks do not belong in checked baggage in the cargo hold — if a cell short-circuits and catches fire, the crew can handle it in the cabin, but not in the cargo. This Xiaomi has 74 Wh, so it comfortably fits below the limit. When will it arrive here and how does it differ from the one “with a cable”? And now for the main point: you can’t buy it here yet. As Notebookcheck reported, the new product has only appeared on Xiaomi’s global website so far, and regional e-shops outside of China do not carry it — a wider release is expected sometime in 2026. Xiaomi has not yet revealed the European price; in China, its sibling with a cable sells for around 169 yuan (approximately 530 CZK), so it doesn’t look like a bargain, but not overpriced either. Be careful of a potential mix-up. In Czech stores, for around 690 CZK, you might be looking at the 20000 22.5 W (Integrated Cable) model — but that’s an older unit with a permanently built-in cable, different dimensions, and features. The new global version does not have any built-in cable (though one is included in the box) and relies purely on three separate ports: New Global (PB2022ZM)Older “Integrated Cable”Cableonly included in the boxpermanently built-inPorts1× USB-C + 2× USB-AUSB-C + USB-A + cableDimensions150.6 × 72.2 × 26.3 mm128 × 73 × 32 mmAvailability herenot yetyes, around 690 CZK Don’t want to wait? Opt for an alternative Before the new product arrives on Czech shelves, you can opt for a similarly equipped power bank that you can buy right away. The closest is the older Xiaomi 22.5W Power Bank 20000 (Integrated Cable) for around 690 CZK, while the 33W version or the Mi 50W Power Bank 20000 offer more power with significantly faster charging. Xiaomi, after all, churns out new products constantly — for example, it recently showed off a powerful 10000 power bank with 67W and a display. Would you take a power bank without a cable, or would you prefer one with a built-in cable?
