Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is coming to Europe! We know most of the specs

Xiaomi has a peculiar habit – phones for the global market often feature different components than the same models in China. This time, it’s preparing to change the camera on the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, which is expected to arrive within a few months.

200 megapixels instead of 50

The Chinese version of Redmi Note 15 Pro, which has been on sale since August, features a 50Mpx Sony LYT-600 as its main camera. A solid chip that takes good photos. However, Xiaomi has decided that this is not enough for the rest of the world. According to a firmware leak published by leaker PaperKing13, the global version will get a Samsung ISOCELL S5KHPE with 200 Mpx resolution.

The higher-end Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus model is also expected to get the same sensor. It’s a chip with a size of 1/1.4 inches, which is very decent for the mid-range.

The rest of the specs without surprises

Aside from the main camera, not much else will change. The wide-angle lens will remain an 8Mpx OmniVision OV08F – the same as in the current Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. The front camera is expected to have 20 megapixels.

The heart of the phone will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor, which performs decently in the Chinese version. It’s not a powerhouse, but it’s more than sufficient for everyday use and playing less demanding games. However, the main star remains the 7000 mAh battery.

When and for how much?

Xiaomi is keeping the exact launch date a secret for now, but according to current customs, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G could arrive sometime in February or March 2026. The price should be around 8-10 thousand Czech crowns for the base version, which would be competitive.
