However, Xiaomi decided to take a different path and equipped its latest model Redmi G Pro 32U 2026 with the HyperOS 3 operating system, which transforms the monitor into a multifunctional device capable of functioning as a smart TV. This also corresponds to a higher price – the new product has just arrived on the Chinese market and costs 3,199 yuan, which is almost 10,000 CZK in conversion. To function, Xiaomi equipped the monitor with a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage – equipment comparable to cheaper smart TVs. In practice, the system integration allows users to switch between monitor and TV mode with a single button. In TV mode, they gain access to streaming services directly on the monitor without needing a connected computer or external device like Chromecast. For China, this includes local platforms; in the event of a potential global market launch, an expansion to include Netflix, YouTube, and other services could be expected. HyperOS 3 also enables control of smart home products directly from the monitor. Users can regulate lighting, thermostats, cameras, and other devices compatible with the Xiaomi Home ecosystem without reaching for their phone. The monitor itself can also be controlled via the Xiao AI voice assistant, which responds to voice commands in Chinese. An interesting addition is the remote control with an NFC chip. Among other things, it serves for easy activation of content transfer from a Xiaomi smartphone to the monitor – simply place the phone near the remote, and the content will immediately begin mirroring on the large screen. This feature is useful, for example, for quickly sharing photos or videos from the phone. QD-Mini LED panel with thousands of dimming zones In terms of display properties, the Redmi G Pro 32U 2026 is among the best in its price category. The 31.5-inch QD-Mini LED panel features 1,152 local dimming zones, ensuring precise backlight control. As a result, the monitor achieves a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a minimum value of 0.001 nits for truly deep blacks. Xiaomi unveiled a superbly equipped Mini LED monitor. In native mode, it displays 4K resolution at 160 Hz, while for competitive gamers, switching to 1080p at 320 Hz is available. The response time is 1 ms GTG, which minimizes motion blur in action games. Color reproduction is at a professional level. Xiaomi states coverage of 98% DCI-P3, 100% Adobe RGB, and 100% sRGB. Each unit also undergoes factory calibration with a resulting accuracy of ΔE < 1, so the monitor can also be used for photo and video editing. It features DisplayHDR 1000 certification and Dolby Vision support, including a mode for games. Rich connectivity and gaming features The Redmi G Pro 32U 2026 offers an above-standard port selection. Available are two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C with 90W charging support. The monitor can thus simultaneously power a connected laptop. A pair of USB 3.0 ports allows for connecting peripherals, and a 3.5mm jack serves for headphones. For gamers, features such as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) are available. Xiaomi has also added gaming image enhancements, including dark scene highlighting and a crosshair. Sound is handled by two 5W speakers with DTS:X and Dolby Atmos support. HDMI eARC can be used for external audio. The monitor also features RGB ambient lighting on the back and a fully adjustable stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot options. Price and availability The Xiaomi Redmi G Pro 32U 2026 is currently available in China for 3,199 yuan, which translates to approximately 10,000 CZK. The manufacturer has not yet announced any potential launch on global or European markets. However, the manufacturer does bring many of its monitors to our market, so there is a chance it could come here. In that case, instead of HyperOS, it would likely use Google TV, following the example of this year’s released Strix OLED XG34WCDMS from the ASUS ROG brand.
