Last year, Xiaomi brought its first large home appliances to the European market, and since then, it has been gradually expanding its offering. Now, it is once again preparing to expand its catalog with two new washing machines. Even before the company officially announced anything, we obtained brief specifications, manuals, and energy labels for both models. What’s more, with the more expensive model, it will be interesting that it will be the manufacturer’s very first black washing machine to arrive in Europe.

The 7kg Mijia focuses on efficiency and a slim body

The cheaper of the two will be named Mijia Front Load Washer 7kg EU (model number WM070MJA07EU) and will target smaller households. The 44-liter drum can accommodate 7 kilograms of laundry, and a brushless BLDC motor powers it. It will wash in a white finish as a classic freestanding washing machine.

The most interesting feature is its depth of just 45 centimeters – with a width of 60 cm and a height of 85 cm, it will fit even into a narrow bathroom or hallway where a standard machine would be in the way. According to the energy label, it falls into energy class A, consuming 0.358 kWh and 45 liters of water per wash cycle in eco 40-60 mode. It should spin at a speed of around 1,200 revolutions per minute (the EPREL register states 1,150).

According to the label, the noise level during spinning is 71 dB, and the manufacturer will provide a two-year warranty for the washing machine. The model has even been listed in the European EPREL database since May, so its launch is not far off.

Pro 10kg: Xiaomi’s first black washing machine to leave China

The second new product is much more ambitious. The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 10kg EU (model WD100MJA12EU) is a combined washer-dryer – it can wash up to 10 kg of laundry and dry 7 kg in one cycle. According to the leaked render, it will arrive in Europe for the very first time in a black finish.

The equipment also matches its premium status. Inside, a Direct Drive motor operates, which is typically quieter and more durable than classic belt-driven solutions, and a steam program for refreshing and deep cleaning laundry is also included. It spins at a speed of 1,350 revolutions per minute (the Hungarian listing promises 1,400) and with dimensions of 85 × 61 × 60 cm, it is significantly more robust than the economical 7kg model.

We’ve already tested the smaller sibling of this series, the Pro 9 model, in our editorial office – and both the smart application and the build quality pleasantly surprised us.

However, when it comes to energy efficiency, a distinction needs to be made. Washing alone achieves an economical class A, but once drying is included, the combined cycle drops to class D – a trade-off practically every washer-dryer demands. For one eco 40-60 wash cycle, 52 liters of water flow through the machine, and the program lasts approximately four hours.

When will the new Xiaomi washing machines arrive and how much will they cost?

And now for the main point: prices are not yet known. We anticipate that Xiaomi will officially unveil both washing machines next month at the IFA 2026 trade fair in Berlin, where European premieres of home appliances are customary. Only then will we learn the specific amounts in Czech crowns and the sales date.

However, the outlook for Czech customers is good. Xiaomi imports its Mijia washing machines to our country, and an eight-kilogram model just a few months old sells for less than ten thousand Czech crowns here. Therefore, the chance that both new products will eventually arrive here is quite high. However, we will only have certainty after the official presentation.

Would a black Xiaomi washing machine appeal to you for your bathroom, or would you prefer a classic white one?
