You usually only find out about a dead doorbell battery when someone is waiting in vain at your door. Immax NEO LITE Smart solves this problem quite elegantly: the outdoor button doesn’t need a battery at all. It gets the energy to send the signal from the press itself. What’s more, for the current 499 CZK on Alza, it’s not just a simple chime in the hallway — the doorbell can also send notifications to your phone.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if: You want a simple doorbell with mobile notifications and don’t want to change the battery in the button.
⚠ Consider: The receiver needs a power socket. It’s not a video intercom, and the range through walls can be significantly shorter than outdoors.
💡 Alza has a price of 499 CZK without a code. The manufacturer directly offers the same model for 500 CZK with code BF2026.

Battery-free button, receiver plugs into a socket

The piezoelectric button converts a mechanical press into an electrical impulse. It communicates wirelessly with the receiver at a frequency of 433 MHz, so you don’t need to run a power cable to the door itself. Inside the apartment, the situation is different: the chime module plugs into a standard 230 V socket. The package includes the button, this module, and installation materials.

For smart features, you connect the receiver to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and add it to the Immax NEO PRO app, which also supports Czech. It supports Android and iOS, and the device can also be used with the Tuya app. Phone notifications are useful, for example, when you’re wearing headphones and might easily miss a regular doorbell chime. However, you won’t see who’s at the door on the display: there is no camera.

Owners praise simplicity, beware of panel building walls

On Alza, the doorbell has a rating of 4.3 out of 5, but so far only from five reviews. Verified comments include praise for easy installation and confirmation that phone notifications work. One owner, however, describes a range of about six meters through a panel building wall. This is his specific experience, not a universal limit. However, it clearly shows why the manufacturer’s stated 30 meters in open space cannot be automatically translated to inside a house.

The price is comparable even directly from the manufacturer

Alza offers the doorbell for 499 CZK without a coupon, while Immax directly has the same model for 500 CZK with code BF2026. Prices are without shipping, which can therefore be a more decisive factor than a one-crown difference. In both cases, for five hundred, you get a button without battery worries and mobile notifications.

Would phone notifications be enough for you, or do you also require a camera from a smart doorbell?
