Google connected Gemini with Adobe and Peloton. Here's everything it can do now

Google has expanded Gemini with fourteen connected apps, enabling the assistant to handle tasks directly within third-party services — retouch a photo in Photoshop, create a workout plan, or check a credit score. It sounds good. But when one looks at the availability table Google itself published, the enthusiasm quickly fades.

Ten new apps are labeled “US only”, and the Zoho service is additionally limited to India. Outside the United States, exactly three remain: Adobe, monday.com, and Wispr AI. And even for these, further restrictions apply — they function exclusively in English and only for users over eighteen years old.

What can these three do? Adobe brings Photoshop, Lightroom, Express, and Firefly to Gemini, requiring only a free account. Through monday.com, the assistant can track projects and business opportunities, while Wispr AI searches and summarizes recorded meetings and notes. The rollout is gradual, so not everyone will see them immediately.

A Catch That’s Easy to Overlook

More significant than availability itself, however, is what happens with the data. Connected apps require activity saving to be enabled — without it, they won’t work on the web, Apple devices, or watches. Everything Gemini extracts from Adobe or monday.com is therefore saved to your activity history, which Google uses to improve the service and which is partly reviewed by human evaluators.

And now for the main point: disconnecting an app does not delete anything. Google explicitly states this in its policies — neither disconnecting nor deleting data within a connected app will remove anything from Gemini’s history. The reverse is also true, as apps retain what Gemini provided them according to their own rules. Anyone who truly wants to clean up after themselves must delete records on both sides separately.
