Do you want to get a gaming RTX 5060 for the least amount of money? The Acer Nitro V 15 with RTX 5060 now costs 22,493 CZK with code ALZADNY25 instead of 29,990 CZK. It’s one of the cheapest ways to get this graphics card – but it has one major catch that’s fair to mention upfront.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want an affordable entry into PC gaming with RTX 5060, excellent cooling, and the possibility of future upgrades.
⚠️ Consider that the graphics card runs at a lower TGP (75 W), the display has poor color reproduction, the laptop is noisy under load, and it comes without an operating system.
💡 For 22,493 CZK with code ALZADNY25, it is among the cheapest laptops with RTX 5060 on the market.

Cheapest RTX 5060 – but with lower TGP

This is crucial. The same RTX 5060 graphics card can run at different performance levels in different laptops, depending on how many watts (TGP) the manufacturer allows it. Here, Acer, according to its own response, states a maximum graphics power of up to 75 W – which is rather on the lower end. In practice, this means that for smooth Full HD gaming at high details, it’s excellent, but this version won’t match the performance of the same RTX 5060 in a more expensive laptop with a higher TGP. If you’re chasing the maximum from the 5060, keep this in mind; if you mainly want an affordable entry into gaming, the lower TGP is a fair compromise for the price.

Where it excels

Foreign reviews of the older model (LaptopMedia) primarily highlight its excellent cooling – two fans and heat pipes keep the graphics card at low and stable temperatures even during long gaming sessions. A big plus is its upgradability: two RAM slots and two M.2 slots for drives, so you can easily expand memory and storage over time. Additionally, it features above-standard port equipment including Thunderbolt 4, a fast 165Hz display, a metal-plastic construction with a reasonable weight of 2.1 kg, and a Czech keyboard. A decent amount of bang for your buck for an entry-level gaming laptop.

What to watch out for

The biggest compromise is the display: it has poor color coverage (stated 45% NTSC), so it’s fine for gaming and everyday work, but not suitable for photo and video editing – colors appear dull. The laptop is also quite noisy under full load, and battery life is rather average (the manufacturer states around 5 hours), so consider it a machine for the power outlet. And don’t forget that it comes without an operating system – factor in the cost of Windows to the total price. A fingerprint reader and camera cover are also missing.

If you want an affordable gaming laptop for Full HD gaming with room for future upgrades, it’s a strong offer for 22,493 CZK. Those who need a color-accurate display for creative work or long battery life for travel should look elsewhere.

Would you bet on a cheap RTX 5060 with lower TGP, or would you pay extra for full performance?
