Oppo has the first phone with three 200Mpx cameras. It will arrive in Europe in October

Hardly had the fuss around the new iPhones died down, Oppo comes with a phone that relies even more on its camera. The Find X10 Pro Max has become the world’s first phone with three 200Mpx sensors from Hasselblad — main, wide-angle, and telephoto. Until now, manufacturers typically provided high resolution for one lens and economized on the rest.

What those three identical numbers mean in practice

The advantage is not that you would need two-hundred-megapixel photos. It’s about cropping flexibility — a crop can be cut from a file with such resolution, which still retains usable details.

The main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with an aperture of f/1.5 and a focal length of 24 mm, the telephoto lens covers 70 mm at f/2.1 and can focus down to ten centimeters. The wide-angle camera covers 124 degrees. All three also support 8K video recording across the entire focal range, which truly no one else offers.

Let’s add the crucial point, however: the number of pixels alone does not make for better photos. Apple takes the opposite approach with the iPhone 18 Pro Max — it stays at 48 megapixels and relies on computational processing to produce images directly usable without edits. How Oppo will perform in reality will only be revealed by thorough tests.

The rest of the features don’t lag behind

The phone features a 6.78-inch flat display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Inside, a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro powers the device, and an 8,000 mAh battery provides energy with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Memory can be up to 16 GB, storage up to a terabyte.

The speed of working with such large files is noteworthy — the delay between two full-resolution shots is expected to drop to 0.7 seconds thanks to the new chip. With the previous generation, it was significantly longer. Durability is ensured by IP69 rating and a five-star drop certification.

When and for how much in our country

In China, the phone is sold in four configurations, from 6,799 yuan (approximately 21,400 CZK) for the 12/256 GB version to 8,999 yuan (roughly 28,350 CZK) for the highest 16 GB / 1 TB variant.

Oppo confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will also arrive in international markets by the end of October — however, according to available estimates, European prices are expected to range between 1,350 and 1,500 euros, which is roughly between 33,000 and 37,000 Czech crowns. This is an increase of more than ten thousand compared to the Chinese price tag, which unfortunately we must expect with phones of this brand. Specific Czech availability has not yet been confirmed.
