PlayStation players will get their money's worth! July games hide an AAA hit and an action RPG

PlayStation subscribers will once again get their money’s worth. Sony has confirmed that the monthly PS Plus games for July 2026 will offer a solid mix of action, turn-based strategy, and retro RPG. You can redeem them from July 7th, and once added to your library, they will remain yours as long as your subscription is active.

Headliner: Modern Warfare III

The biggest draw is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PS5, PS4). The campaign follows Modern Warfare II, pitting Captain Price and Task Force 141 against Vladimir Makarov. However, according to reviews, it’s not very good; you can finish it in 4 hours, and it has lost its cinematic quality. The single-player story clearly feels rushed. Besides the single-player, you also get competitive multiplayer and an extensive Zombies mode, so there will be no shortage of content for long evenings.

For groups and solo players

The second title is For the King II (PS5, PS4), a strategic RPG built on cooperation and planning. You can play alone or with a party of up to four players, striving to stop Queen Rosomon’s tyrannical rule. The trio concludes with CrossCode (PS5, PS4) — an action RPG with pixel-art graphics, dungeons full of puzzles, and a sci-fi story that unfolds gradually as you collect equipment and abilities.

All three titles will be available for Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers from July 7th to August 3rd. Anyone who hasn’t yet claimed the June offer should hurry — it will disappear once the July offer starts. The June offer is particularly good, featuring titles like the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and Farming Simulator 25.
