Revolut is giving away ChatGPT Go for free. Up to a year, depending on how much you pay Home News Revolut has partnered with OpenAI to offer its clients a ChatGPT Go subscription at no extra cost The duration of the offer depends on the plan – from three months for Standard to a full year for the Ultra plan Holders of paid plans have the benefit available from today, Standard and Plus users will have to wait Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 3. 8. 2026 00:30 Advertisement Fintech banks have long competed not only on interest rates and fees. Revolut, boasting over 75 million clients, is adding another service to its subscription offerings, whose monthly fee many people are dealing with today – the ChatGPT Go plan from OpenAI. Depending on the account type, customers will get it for free for three months to a full year. The more expensive the account, the longer the access What ChatGPT Go actually adds Bank as a subscription package The more expensive the account, the longer the access The distribution of benefits follows Revolut’s classic logic, where each higher plan adds something extra. Owners of the Ultra plan get the most – twelve months free, plus an annual Buddy pass, meaning access for another person. The Metal plan will also offer a year, while Premium, Revolut Pro, and Revolut Mobile will offer six months. Users of Plus and Standard plans will fare the worst with three months, and only as part of a promotional campaign that the bank will send out in the coming weeks. For other paid plans, the benefit activates immediately. What ChatGPT Go actually adds The paid Go plan sits between the free version and more expensive plans. It raises usage limits for users, allows uploading more files and analyzing documents, generating images, and utilizing memory across conversations. In other words – the main draw is not a new feature, but the fact that one doesn’t so often hit the ceiling set by the freely available version. Revolut is launching the offer shortly after the introduction of the latest series of GPT-5.6 models. Bank as a subscription package Tara Massoudi, who is responsible for premium products at Revolut, defends the move by arguing that clients today are drowning money in fragmented monthly payments, and the bank should consolidate them into one membership. While it sounds nice, ultimately it’s a proven tactic: the more services tied to an expensive plan, the harder it is to leave it. Would a ChatGPT subscription influence your choice of banking plan, or is it just marketing fluff?
