Samsung confirmed when One UI 9 will arrive on other phones. Galaxy S26 may receive the update globally as early as today

A few days ago, Samsung rolled out stable One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series, but so far only in South Korea. In Thailand, however, the manufacturer revealed specific dates for other markets and models, suggesting that the flagship series will receive it as early as today.

When will the Galaxy S26 series get One UI 9?

According to the Thai press release, the Galaxy S26 series will receive One UI 9 on September 21, which is today. While the date officially applies to the Thai market, other regions outside Korea could theoretically receive the update at the same time.

What awaits Galaxy S25, foldables, and S23 FE?

Samsung also directly provided journalists with details about last year’s flagship generation. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 are expected to receive One UI 9 on September 28. The manufacturer surprisingly also mentions the Galaxy S23 FE – the system is expected to arrive for it sometime in October, but a specific date was not specified.

Why take the dates with a grain of salt?

Nevertheless, it’s advisable to take the dates with a grain of salt. They were published by only one portal – the Thai newsroom – while other official Samsung channels do not provide specific dates. It could easily have been just a preliminary plan.
