Are you constantly increasing the volume to understand dialogues, only to turn it down again during the next explosion? The TCL A65K offers a dedicated center channel and voice enhancement. In addition, it has speakers for Dolby Atmos height effects and a wireless subwoofer. The “Audio by Bang & Olufsen” designation is also interesting: you get the sound solution from the well-known Danish brand in this set for 4,990 CZK. Alza discounted it from the stated 7,990 CZK, so the difference is a full three thousand.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Watching movies and series where you want to emphasize speech. The soundbar has a dedicated center channel and switchable voice enhancement.
⚠️ Consider: You’ll utilize height effects with movies and series featuring Dolby Atmos or DTS:X sound.
💡 In addition to the TV, you can also connect your phone via Bluetooth. Music can also be played from USB, so the system doesn’t have to serve only for screen viewing.

Atmos here isn’t just an item on the format list

TCL uses a 3.1.2 physical configuration with a total of 9 drivers. Two channels are directed upwards and are intended to add a height dimension to the effects; it’s not just about supporting a sound format. Low frequencies are handled by the included subwoofer with a 6.5″ driver and wireless sound transmission.

The Audio by Bang & Olufsen sound solution uses a three-way design with separate drivers for highs, mids, and lows. You connect the system to the TV via HDMI eARC, which also transmits multi-channel sound. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth and use the soundbar for listening to music as well.

Sound can be fine-tuned according to the room and seating position

A soundbar doesn’t have to sound the same in an empty room as it does among carpets, curtains, and bookshelves. The AI Sonic-Adaptation function, via your phone and the TCL HOME app, analyzes the acoustics of the space and adjusts settings according to the room and listening position. For calibration, you need the app and a registered account.

Manual adjustment isn’t limited to just bass and treble. In the app, you can adjust the equalizer, individual channel levels, and the spatial effect. There’s also picture and sound synchronization, a useful correction option for when speech doesn’t match mouth movements on screen.

What would you use more in a soundbar: dialogue enhancement, or spatial effects?
