Robotic lawnmowers under five thousand crowns usually mean compromises in the form of missing Wi-Fi or an app. However, the WORX Landroid S250 has now dropped from 10,690 CZK to just 4,795 CZK with the code ALZADNY50. If you have a smaller garden and don’t want to spend weekends mowing, this offer is worth considering. Current availability and price can be found directly in the product detail on Alza.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you have a lawn up to 250 m² and finally want to stop mowing manually — for less than 5 thousand, it’s an exceptional price.
⚠️ Consider if you have a larger garden or very rugged terrain with narrow passages under 30 cm.
💡 For 4,795 CZK you get features that cost double with competitors — Wi-Fi, an app, a rain sensor, and a smart planning system.

Why this lawnmower is interesting

The WORX Landroid S250 targets owners of smaller gardens up to 250 m² who want automation without large investments. In practice, this means the lawnmower can handle a typical family lawn at a terraced house or a smaller garden at a cottage. The patented AIA (Artificial Intelligence Algorithm) technology helps it navigate even narrower passages and garden corners — it can pass through gaps at least 30 cm wide.

Compared to cheaper models without connectivity, the Landroid S250 offers Wi-Fi connectivity and control via a mobile app. This allows you to start, stop, or check the status of the lawnmower from anywhere. The app also allows you to set forbidden zones and track mowing statistics.

Key parameters in practice

The lawnmower operates with a cutting width of 16 cm, and the cutting height can be adjusted in 4 positions from 30 to 60 mm. Three rotating blades with an automatic leveling system ensure an even cut. The Cut-to-Edge function with an extended blade and side combs allows mowing up to 4 cm from solid edges — less additional trimming.

The Noesis system is one of the things that differentiate Landroid from very basic models. The lawnmower automatically plans the mowing schedule according to the current weather and actual grass growth. So you don’t have to manually change settings according to the season — the robot handles it itself.

Practical aspects: battery, installation, safety

The package includes a 20V battery with a capacity of 2 Ah, which lasts approximately 90 minutes of operation. Charging takes about 120 minutes. The battery belongs to the WORX PowerShare system, so you can use it in other tools of this series — drills, saws, or garden equipment.

Installation requires laying a boundary wire (100 m is included in the package), which defines the working area. This is standard for lawnmowers in this price category. The package also includes 130 pegs for securing the wire, a charging station, 9 spare blades, and all necessary installation material.

Safety features include a lift and tilt sensor (blades stop immediately when lifted), a rain sensor (the lawnmower returns to its base when it starts raining), and PIN protection. The weight of 8.5 kg is standard for a robotic lawnmower.

When it doesn’t make sense

If your lawn is significantly larger than 250 m², the Landroid S250 will operate at its limits, and mowing time will be extended. For larger gardens, it makes sense to consider models M500 Plus or M600 Plus from the same series. Also, if you have many narrow passages under 30 cm or extremely rugged terrain, the lawnmower’s navigation might be more challenging.

The Landroid S250 also requires the installation of a boundary wire, which takes several hours of work. If you are looking for a wire-free lawnmower (with GPS or camera navigation), you will have to look into a higher price category — but then we are talking about many times higher amounts.

Verdict: who it’s worth it for

For 4,795 CZK, you get a robotic lawnmower with features typically found in models costing 8–10 thousand. Wi-Fi connectivity, an app, smart mowing planning based on weather, a rain sensor — all at a price that is exceptionally low for robotic lawnmowers. If you have a smaller garden and finally want to stop spending weekends mowing, this discount is definitely interesting.

If this specific model didn’t appeal to you, but you are looking for a robotic lawnmower on sale, you can also browse the current Alza Days, where other discounted garden equipment models continuously appear.
