Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro review: the best cleaning you can get for 12 thousand Home Ostatní recenze The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro is a new mid-range model with 15,000 Pa suction power and a self-cleaning station An extendable side brush and mopping arm ensure cleaning right up to wall edges and into corners For a price of 11,999 CZK, it offers features that until recently cost significantly more Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 16. 6. 2026 04:30 Today, you can buy a robotic vacuum cleaner with a self-cleaning station for under 10,000 CZK, so the mere presence of a station no longer impresses anyone. In the category around 12,000 CZK, Roborock, Dreame, and Xiaomi itself with the older X20+ model are all competing. The new Robot Vacuum H50 Pro, priced at 11,999 CZK, therefore has to differentiate itself in another way – and it relies on extendable arms for cleaning edges and corners, a feature still quite rare in this price class. In addition, it offers 15,000 Pa suction and full mop maintenance in the station. I let it clean my home for a few weeks to find out what it’s really like. White classic with a laser turret Arms that reach for dirt 15,000 Pa: for carpets and cat litter Mopping: rotation instead of dragging a cloth Navigation without a camera, but with intelligence Xiaomi Home app and one weaker point Technical specifications of Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro Who is the H50 Pro worth it for? White classic with a laser turret Don’t look for any design revolution with the H50 Pro. A white disc with a diameter of about 35 centimeters, a glossy top cover, a front bumper. On top sits the classic rotating LDS laser sensor turret, which extends the robot’s height to 9.3 centimeters. So, it won’t get under really low furniture – only more expensive models with flat sensors can do that, and this compromise is understandable at the given price. The robot itself weighs a comfortable 3.9 kilograms, so carrying it between floors isn’t a problem. The docking station, measuring 320 × 411 × 495 millimeters, is one of the more compact ones and, in addition to charging, handles three things: it empties dust into a bag, washes the mopping pads, and dries them with hot air. Upstairs under the lid, there’s a four-liter clean water tank and a smaller dirty water container, while at the front, there’s a dust bag that, according to the manufacturer, lasts up to 75 days. After a month of operation, I can confirm that this is a realistic estimate – my bag is barely half full. Arms that reach for dirt The main trump card of the H50 Pro is hidden on its underside. Both the side brush and one of the mopping pads sit on extendable arms, which automatically extend towards an obstacle when passing by a wall or corner. Xiaomi boasts zero distance from edges, and the mop’s reach has increased by 68 percent compared to older generations. It sounds like marketing math, but it really works. The strip of dust along the baseboards, which a cheaper robot used to leave behind and which I had to clean manually once a week, simply disappeared. Furthermore, the mop arm can extend under furniture – a gap of at least 2.8 centimeters is enough for the pad to reach where the robot’s body cannot fit. For a vacuum cleaner costing less than twelve thousand, this is a feature I only used to see on machines costing twenty-five thousand and more until recently. KOUPIT XIAOMI H50 PRO 15,000 Pa: for carpets and cat litter The suction power of 15,000 Pa places the H50 Pro in the upper mid-range, and in practice, it’s more than sufficient. On laminate flooring, it picked up crumbs, sand from shoes, and fine dust from between the planks. On low-pile carpets, with boost enabled, it even handled deeply embedded hair. Four power levels are available, from quiet to turbo, and I recommend not holding back – the difference in noise between standard and stronger modes is minimal, while the difference in results is noticeable. Potěšila mě i ochrana proti namotávání vlasů. Mopping: rotation instead of dragging a cloth Mopping is handled by a pair of rotating microfiber pads that spin at 180 revolutions per minute, simulating manual scrubbing. They handled common dirt, dried coffee drops, and children’s shoe marks in a single pass; truly stubborn stains required two passes. In pure mopping mode, the noise level stays at 57 dB, so the robot can mop while you watch TV in the same room. Its behavior on carpets is smart. As soon as the robot detects it’s approaching a carpet, it lifts the mopping pads by 10 millimeters and increases suction. It also lifts the pads on its way back to the station to avoid dragging a dirty streak. For carpets with pile over 8 millimeters, lifting is no longer sufficient, and it’s better to set the robot to avoid them in the app – you have a total of four carpet handling modes, from complete ignoring to preferential vacuuming. After each cleaning, the station washes the pads by rotating and scrubbing them against a washing plate and dries them with hot air within two hours. This prevents the mops from smelling, but it’s fair to mention that they are washed with cold water – washing with water heated to 75 or even 100 °C remains the privilege of more expensive machines. There’s also no separate detergent dispenser; cleaning solution is poured directly into the clean water tank. Navigation without a camera, but with intelligence The laser turret performs a 360° scan of the home; the map was ready during the first cleaning, and the robot then moved in neat S-shaped lines. Obstacle detection is handled by structured light with a 129° field of view, which, according to the manufacturer, measures with millimeter precision and works even in the dark. Five sensors on the bottom also monitor stairs. In practice, the H50 Pro reliably avoided shoes, chair legs, and the dog bowl. What it cannot do, however, is recognize specific objects with an AI camera – flagship models can identify a charging cable or a sock and avoid them, whereas here the robot only sees “something low in the way.” A thin cable lying loosely on the floor once got tangled in its brush, so it’s better to quickly check the floor before cleaning. It crosses thresholds and uneven surfaces up to 2 centimeters without hesitation. KOUPIT XIAOMI H50 PRO Xiaomi Home app and one weaker point Control is managed via the Xiaomi Home app, which many households use for other smart devices from this brand. It offers everything essential: map editing, forbidden zones, room-by-room cleaning scheduling, four cleaning modes, and settings for mop washing frequency and dust emptying. Those with an Alexa or Google Assistant speaker at home can send the robot to work by voice. The interface is clear, though it feels a bit austere compared to the Roborock app. And now for the promised “but.” The 5,200 mAh battery can handle 120 to 150 minutes of cleaning, which is fine and more than enough for a typical apartment. However, a full charge takes 6 hours. If the robot is cleaning a larger area and needs to recharge along the way, the cleaning process will extend to half a day. You won’t notice this in a smaller apartment, but owners of larger homes should take note. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro is precisely the type of product with which the brand built its name: it takes features from a higher class, hides trimmed details under the hood, and slashes the final price to where it hurts the competition. The extendable arms work great, the suction power is sufficient for carpets, and the station takes care of both mops and dust. Compromises exist – long charging time, cold water mop washing, absence of an AI camera – but none of them are a major obstacle in a typical household. If you have an apartment up to approximately 80 square meters and don’t want to spend more than twelve thousand on robotic cleaning, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more balanced offer right now. Owners of large homes and high-pile carpets should look a class higher – I would recommend it to everyone else.
