A smart scale for less than five hundred crowns sounds like a compromise, but this one has numbers not seen in more expensive models. You can now buy the Siguro Smart Vital Coach S240D with code ALZADNY20 for 479 Kč instead of 599 Kč – and 74 ratings with an average of 4.6 out of 5 is a solid sample for a product in this price range.

👍 Get it, if you want to track the development of your values over time and appreciate that the whole family can fit into the app.
🤔 Hesitate, if you expect medical precision – bioimpedance measurement in home scales serves for orientation, not for diagnosis.
💰 Price: 479 Kč with batteries included and a three-year warranty, which is one year longer than legally required.

Fourteen values and memory for the whole family

The scale pairs via Bluetooth with the TUYA app, which is in Czech, and measures up to 14 body characteristics – in addition to weight, also body fat percentage, muscle mass, water, bone, BMI, and basal metabolism. The accuracy is 10 grams, which is above average for scales in this price range, and the capacity of 180 kg covers anyone.

A practical feature is memory for up to twelve users and automatic recognition of who is currently on the scale. This means data doesn’t get mixed up for the whole household, and everyone has their own overview and graphs. The main value is not in a one-time number, but precisely in the fact that the application stores history, allowing you to see development over time without having to write anything down.

The construction is robust: six-millimeter glass, backlit display, anti-slip feet, automatic on/off, and overload and low battery indicators. Four AAA batteries are included, so you can set up and use the scale right away.

How to read measured values

Realistic expectations are in order here. The scale has four sensors placed under the feet, so it measures the lower half of the body and calculates the rest – more expensive models with eight sensors are more accurate in this regard. Furthermore, bioimpedance measurement is affected by hydration, time of day, and whether you have just eaten or exercised, so take absolute numbers with a grain of salt.

It makes sense when you weigh yourself regularly at the same time and follow the trend, not individual measurements. Second note: power is handled by AAA batteries, not a rechargeable accumulator, so you will need to change them from time to time – on the other hand, they are included and last a long time.

Do you weigh yourself regularly, or do you prefer not to step on the scale?
