Best value laptop on the market? This ASUS has 32 GB RAM, OLED, and costs only 16 thousand

Dozens of browser tabs, spreadsheets, a video call, and a document in progress next to it. It is precisely when switching between multiple applications that you will appreciate the reserve in RAM. The ASUS Vivobook S14 has a full 32 GB of it and currently costs 15,990 CZK on Alza. It also adds an OLED display and a body weighing 1.4 kg, making it sensible even for those who carry their laptop between home, office, or school every day.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Work and study with multiple open applications, if you frequently carry your laptop and also want a nice picture for movies.
⚠️ Consider: The price does not include the operating system or charger. You must arrange their acquisition and system installation yourself.
💡 Both USB-C ports support charging and video output. Alongside them, there’s HDMI and a pair of standard USB-A ports for accessories.

Documents by day, OLED by night

The fourteen-inch OLED has a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The larger display area is useful for reading websites and working with documents, while in the evening, the deep black of the OLED panel comes in handy. The display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space.

This configuration uses a 60Hz panel with 300 nits brightness. Therefore, it is best suited for indoor work and watching movies; do not expect a high refresh rate for gaming or exceptional brightness for sunlight here.

Large memory for everyday work

The installed 32 GB DDR5 is the main attraction of this variant. It provides space for concurrently open applications, but the performance of demanding computations is still determined by the processor. This is the Ryzen AI 5 330 with four cores and eight threads, complemented by integrated Radeon 820M graphics. Therefore, it is primarily equipment for office, school, and general home use; demanding gaming is not this setup’s strong suit. Files and programs are stored on a 512GB SSD.

For your bag and for a monitor on your desk

At a weight of 1.4 kg, there was room inside for a 70Wh battery. Specific battery life depends on the load and brightness settings, but the capacity itself is pleasing for such a portable laptop. At your desk, you can connect a monitor via USB-C or HDMI, and two USB-A ports remain for a mouse or other accessories. The keyboard is backlit, and the sold variant has Czech and Slovak key labels.

What the price of 15,990 CZK includes

On Alza, this is the gray configuration M3407KA-OLED115Z, which is in stock for 15,990 CZK. The price is valid without a discount code or paid membership. The operating system and power adapter are not included in the package, so the final cost also depends on what you already have at home.

For power, a compatible 65W USB-C charger with Power Delivery and a corresponding cable is suitable. If you use one for another laptop, verify its parameters before purchasing another. If you want Windows, also account for installation and a license, if you don’t have your own usable one.
