Looking for a small mechanical keyboard that won’t take up half your desk? LORGAR KBP70MW in white version now costs 1,919 CZK with code ALZADNY20 instead of 2,399 CZK. And it offers quite nice features with a lot of accessories.

Quick Summary:
Makes sense if you want a quiet compact mechanical keyboard with hot-swappable switches, three connection methods, and Czech keycaps – and you’ll appreciate the bundle of bonuses the manufacturer included.
⚠️ Consider that the keycaps are made of cheaper ABS, with RGB the battery lasts only 23 hours, and the print is also on top of the keycaps, not purely on the side, as the description states.
💡 For 1,919 CZK with code ALZADNY20, it’s a lot of bang for your buck, plus in full Czech localization.

What you get for that money

The base consists of linear Toxic Purple switches with an actuation force of 55 grams and an actuation point at 2 mm. They are factory-lubed, so the operation is smooth and the sound pleasantly muted – also helped by the gasket construction with layers of foam and silicone, which dampens vibrations. If the switches don’t suit you, they are hot-swap, so you can replace them without soldering. Connectivity handles Bluetooth 5.0, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, and a 2.3-meter detachable cable, the 3,750 mAh battery provides up to 416 hours without backlighting. There’s also a multimedia volume knob and the LORGAR Platform app for macros, profiles, and RGB synchronization. And then there’s the packaging, which feels like it’s from a piece twice as expensive: five spare switches, a keycap puller, a keycap keychain, a bag, a brush, a coaster, and two hand warmers.

Things to consider

A few things upfront. The keycaps are made of ABS plastic – they may become shiny over time, and higher quality PBT would be nice, although it’s no surprise at this price point. With RGB turned on, battery life drops to 23 hours, so if you want long wireless days, it’s better to dim the lights. Another detail emerges from owner reviews: the description on Alza promises side-printed keycaps, but in reality, the legend is also on top, where the RGB won’t shine through. It’s not a functional flaw, just an inaccuracy. And the design in striking white may not suit everyone – if it doesn’t fit you, the keyboard also exists in other colors and sizes.

For a compact mechanical keyboard for a smaller setup with Czech localization and rich accessories, it’s a successful purchase for 1,919 CZK. Those who insist on PBT keycaps and long battery life with full RGB should expect compromises.

Do you prefer compact 65% keyboards, or can’t you do without a numpad?
