We know the prices Home News The editorial team of Svět Androida has found out the price of the new Redmi Watch 6 for the Czech market The watch will arrive with a price of 2,390 CZK for the basic version and 2,890 CZK for the NFC variant Compared to its predecessor, it will offer, among other things, NFC support for contactless payments directly from the wrist Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 23. 4. 2026 10:30 Advertisement Chinese Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 6 smartwatch on its domestic market last autumn, and since then, many users have been asking when the new product will make its way to Europe. In recent weeks, the watch has gradually started appearing in the offers of some European e-shops, indicating that the global premiere is fast approaching. Our editorial team has now managed to find out how much they will sell for in the Czech Republic and which variants will eventually arrive on our market. Redmi Watch 6 in the Czech Republic for 2,890 CZK NFC is the biggest new feature compared to its predecessor Larger AMOLED display with 2,000 nits brightness A second button and aluminum frame have been added Up to 24 days battery life and HyperOS 3 Sport and health at a professional level Who are the Redmi Watch 6 suitable for? Redmi Watch 6 in the Czech Republic for 2,890 CZK According to information leaked from one of the domestic retailers, the new Redmi Watch 6 will be sold in the Czech Republic for 2,390 CZK, and this time an NFC version should also be available for 2,890 CZK. Those interested in the cheaper model will be able to choose from three color variants – silver with a grey strap (Moonlight Silver), silver with a blue strap (Glacier Blue), and black (Elegant Black). For the NFC variant, we do not yet register the blue strap design. The price we found seems very favorable for Czech standards. Redmi Watch 5 even started at 2,599 CZK here, so if our discovered amounts are correct and do not change before release, we will even see a price reduction. Given how long we’ve waited for the Redmi Watch 6, we deserve it. NFC is the biggest new feature compared to its predecessor For many users, the most important change by far will be the addition of an NFC version. The Redmi Watch 5 completely lacked this technology, and its successor, for an extra five hundred crowns, will finally enable contactless payments directly from the wrist. Currently, we cannot say exactly which payment services will be supported, but for example, the Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm, which we tested, could only work with cards from ČSOB or mBank in the Czech Republic. Users with cards from other banks could set up the Curve application and pay through it. Larger AMOLED display with 2,000 nits brightness The Redmi Watch 6 also makes significant progress in terms of its screen. While its predecessor offered a 2.07″ diagonal with bezels around 4 mm, the new model retains the same format but thins the edges to just 2 mm on all four sides. The result is an 82% screen-to-body ratio, giving the watch a more modern and premium feel. The AMOLED panel operates at a resolution of 432 × 514 pixels with a density of 324 PPI and offers a 60Hz refresh rate for smooth animations. The maximum brightness is 2,000 nits, ensuring good readability even in direct sunlight. A new feature is the color Always-on Display operating at 5 Hz, so users will see the time and basic information even when the screen is off without a significant impact on battery life. A second button and aluminum frame have been added In terms of design, the Redmi Watch 6 retain the familiar square shape, but the construction has undergone important changes. The rotating crown with a red accent has moved to the upper part of the right side and is now complemented by a second functional button located below it. A single press of this button opens the control center, a long press brings up the power-off menu, and a triple tap initiates a call to an emergency contact. The frame is made of high-strength aluminum, which the manufacturer claims is 40% stronger than its predecessor. The watch is also significantly slimmer – its dimensions are 46.45 × 40.03 × 9.94 mm, and without the strap, it weighs just 31 grams. Furthermore, the strap can be replaced with a single press thanks to the quick-release system. Up to 24 days battery life and HyperOS 3 Inside the Redmi Watch 6 ticks a 550 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, should last up to 24 days in power-saving mode. With normal use and active health monitoring, battery life drops to 12 days, and with the color AOD display turned on, to 7 days. Even so, these are values that many more expensive competitors disdain. The Chinese version of the watch runs on the latest operating system HyperOS 3, which brings deeper integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem. The Xiaomi Super Island feature (see image above) displays interactive notifications and allows you to control your smart home directly from your wrist. Unfortunately, we cannot yet confirm whether we can count on this feature in the Czech Republic. Sport and health at a professional level The equipment includes dual L1 GNSS antennas, which automatically switch according to wrist position for the most accurate location determination. Satellite systems GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS are supported. In total, the watch offers more than 150 sport modes and can automatically recognize walking, running, and cycling. Health monitoring includes 24-hour heart rate measurement, all-day blood oxygen tracking, sleep analysis, stress monitoring, and a special mode for women’s health. 5ATM certification ensures water resistance up to 50 meters, and thanks to improved sensors, the watch can measure heart rate even underwater while swimming. Who are the Redmi Watch 6 suitable for? At a price under 3,000 CZK, the Redmi Watch 6 offer an interesting combination of features that directly targets users looking for an affordable smartwatch with premium class bonuses. A large AMOLED display, contactless NFC payments, long battery life, and comprehensive health monitoring will appeal to anyone who wants a watch for everyday use in the city and occasional sports activity tracking. On the other hand, it’s fair to point out certain compromises. The watch will not run on Wear OS, so the offering of third-party applications will be significantly limited compared to more expensive competitors. More advanced measurements (e.g., ECG or blood pressure) will also be missing. Even for the biggest sports enthusiasts who need extra precise GPS or professional training analysis, the Redmi Watch 6 will probably not be the best choice – in such a case, we recommend looking into the portfolios of brands like Garmin or Amazfit.
