You open a movie or presentation on your laptop, but you want to show it on a large screen. If your computer has a suitable USB-C port, a single cable might be enough to connect it to a TV. The two-meter AlzaPower AluCore with HDMI is now sold by Alza for 299 CZK. On October 25th, it still cost 449 CZK. Besides the lower price, it’s nice that you don’t have to combine a separate adapter with another HDMI cable.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Connecting a compatible laptop to a TV, monitor, or projector without a separate adapter.
⚠️ Consider: USB-C must be capable of video output. For a phone or laptop with a port only for data and charging, the cable will not help.
💡 The black two-meter model is in stock for 299 CZK without a coupon or paid membership.

Large screen without an extra box

One end is USB-C, the other is HDMI. This way, you transmit both video and audio together to the TV or projector. It’s useful for presentations and extending your workspace with a second monitor: you keep communication on the laptop and a document or spreadsheet on the larger screen.

Alza states HDMI 2.1 and transmission of up to 8K at 60 Hz for the cable. This is the declared upper limit, not the result of our measurement. Actual resolution and refresh rate also depend on the computer’s output and the connected display. For common use, it’s more important that you have a direct two-meter connection.

First, check your USB-C

The cable itself has aluminum connectors and a nylon braid. The black two-meter AluCore is in stock at Alza for 299 CZK. If it matches your laptop’s features, it’s a simple way to always have a cable for a second screen ready at your desk or in your bag.

Do you connect your laptop to a monitor with a single cable, or do you use a docking station?
