AlzaPower P200 car charger discounted by almost a third to CZK 169. It hasn't been cheaper since May

The AlzaPower P200 car charger is now on Alza as part of Black Friday for CZK 169 instead of the usual CZK 249, almost a third cheaper. For that price, you get two ports with up to 35 W charging power and support for both 12V and 24V sockets.

Fast charging thus ends at that moment, and the power is shared between the driver’s phone and a tablet in the back seat. Reviews confirm this. One customer writes that a laptop charges via USB-C only when the second port is free. Another describes that when two devices are connected, charging alternately turns off and on.

You also need to consider that you must purchase the cable separately. For fast charging via Power Delivery, you need a cable with a USB-C connector on the charger side. Alza summarizes protection against short circuit, overload, overheating, and overcharging under the designation 4safe; the charger is also designed to protect the car battery from discharge. A laptop with 35 W USB-C charging will charge at most very slowly, if at all.

Customers praise the speed, but the charger falls out in many cars

On Alza, the charger has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 177 reviews, 82% of customers recommend it, and over 2,000 units have been sold. Positive reviews repeatedly mention fast charging, low price, and subtle backlighting.

It also makes sense for van and truck drivers, as it handles a 24V socket. If your socket is located where you often touch the cable, or if another compact charger has already fallen out of it, you might encounter issues. In that case, you might want to reconsider your purchase, or be aware that with an online purchase, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt. Anyone who wants to regularly charge two devices quickly at once will be dissatisfied with the 15W output and should look for a more powerful model.
