Honor Band 11 bracelets have super battery life and the Pro version will offer its own GPS

Honor has just opened pre-orders in China for the new generation of its Honor Band 11 fitness trackers. While the basic model focuses primarily on battery life, the Pro GPS version adds something new to the brand’s bracelets – a standalone GPS chip, allowing it to record routes even without a phone in your pocket.

What’s new with Honor Band 11?

The series is divided into three models – the basic Honor Band 11, the more powerful Band 11 Pro, and the top-tier Band 11 Pro GPS Edition. The latter is a premiere for Honor: it’s the very first bracelet from the brand to feature a standalone GPS. In practice, this means a runner or cyclist can record their route and training data without having to carry a phone.

A common benefit across all three versions is the new badminton mode and enhanced sleep health tracking. Otherwise, the new models are based on last year’s proven Band 10, which we wrote about when it arrived in the Czech Republic – they inherit the 1.57″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 256 × 402 pixels, a body just 8.99 millimeters thick, and a weight of around 22 grams including the strap, which can be quickly replaced.

Honor has not yet fully detailed the health features, but it can be expected to build upon its predecessor. The previous model, through the Honor Heart Health Research function, combines several signals from heart measurements and alerts to possible atrial fibrillation, irregular heartbeat, or symptoms of sleep apnea. Athletes, in turn, will appreciate up to 96 training modes.

Pro model can last up to 26 days on a single charge

According to the manufacturer, the basic Honor Band 11 can last up to 18 days on a single charge, while both Pro versions can last even up to 26 days – even with the more energy-intensive satellite chip. However, these are Honor’s own figures from power-saving mode, which we cannot independently verify; real-world battery life will depend on how often you light up the display or use navigation.

There are three color variants for each level. The basic model will arrive in sea salt, taro purple, and black shades, while the Pro versions will come in almond white, cocoa black, and “avocado” green.

Price and Availability

Pre-orders for the Honor Band 11 series are currently only running in China, both online and in physical stores. Honor has not yet disclosed the price, even for the domestic market, let alone Europe. For reference: last year’s Band 10 was among the affordable bracelets, so the eleventh generation will likely remain in a friendly price range.

Good news for Czech interested parties is that last year’s Honor Band 10 officially made its way to us. The chance that the new generation will follow a similar path certainly exists – but when and in what version, no one has said yet.
