A laptop in one socket, a phone in another, and headphones waiting for their turn. If you know this evening ritual, the four-port Anker solves a rather common problem in a very pleasant way. In addition to a shared power output of up to 140 W, it has a display where you can see what’s happening during charging. The grey variant now costs 1,390 CZK without a code on Alza. It will therefore appeal mainly to those who want to replace several adapters with one.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: A desk or traveling with a laptop, phone, and other small accessories.
⚠ Consider: When all four ports are connected, the laptop will not receive the full 140 W. The charger is also noticeably heavier than it looks.

The display here has better use than just a nice effect

On the color display, you can monitor the power of individual ports and the charger’s temperature. Instead of guessing whether your laptop is actually charging, you get a specific reading. It’s also practical when switching cables and devices: you immediately see that a connected phone draws different power than a computer. Of course, the display won’t replace a measuring device, but it makes sense as a quick overview on your desk.

Three USB-C connectors are complemented by a classic USB-A. Therefore, you don’t have to throw away older cables you use to charge accessories. The package also includes a 1.5m USB-C cable. Before traveling, you mainly deal with how many other cables you need, instead of searching for a separate adapter for each item in your backpack.

What exactly does 140 W mean with multiple devices

The most powerful USB-C ports can handle up to 140 W when used individually. When both are connected simultaneously, the manufacturer states a distribution of 70 + 70 W. Another combination allows 100 W for a laptop and 40 W for other devices. This is more crucial information than the large number on the box itself: it depends on which sockets you plug the cables into.

When all connectors are occupied, the manufacturer’s breakdown accounts for maximums of 65, 45, 12, and 12 W. This is interesting for a common combination of a work laptop and smaller electronics. However, a demanding computer may not receive as much power as from its dedicated adapter. Simply put, four simultaneously connected devices do not mean four full-power laptop chargers.

How many chargers do you usually carry with your laptop when traveling?
