The Roborock Qrevo Edge 5V1 now starts at 11,500 CZK on Heureka, and its price has been steadily decreasing. At the beginning of the month, it was selling for at least 13,780 CZK, while at its launch last spring, it cost 22,990 CZK. It can also mop and comes with a self-cleaning station.

You’ll barely need to intervene in its operation: the dustbin in the robot has 325 ml and the water tank 72 ml, with the station handling the rest. With a noise level of around 52 dB, it is among the quieter models and can even handle cleaning in the evening. The Roborock app is in Czech, and the model does not have a camera, which you will appreciate if you are concerned about your privacy.

Criticism mainly concerns details. On light, glossy tiles, some people find streaks or small debris, and without a camera, the robot navigates around cables and small objects less effectively, so it’s better to clear them from the floor. Some reviews also mention poorer availability and higher price of original accessories, and that voice announcements cannot be turned off in some versions.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you have thresholds higher than 2 cm at home or many transitions between rooms, expect that the robot will not be able to cross them. It is less suitable for an apartment with cables and small items permanently on the floor, as it cannot reliably navigate around them without a camera.
